Nice day so thought I try blind taste #3. This was a good one - enlisted the assistance of my pup to help figure out and she agreed with my decision.

Monte MC ROTT. Couldn’t resist. This came out of a 5 pack tin. Full box on the way. Has potential but this stick was plugged and just not nearly rested enough. No ammonia or nasty flavor though.

2015 Fonseca No. 1 last night and recent production PLPC tonight.

Oddly, they both tasted extremely tannic, especially the Fonseca which was mouth-drying. Which makes me think it must be me, not the cigars, which otherwise have nothing in common!

UEB SEP 17 PLPC. This has been the biggest surprise in awhile! I havnt had one since April and the extra rest seems to have done wonders! Twang, a bit of caramel, dried fruit, jam and cream. 92-94 pointer. The last few I had before I locked this box up were 2-3/5 star sticks, so huge improvement!

Almost just bought a box. Interested in how you find it compared to the Partagas Shorts.

I'd say the partagas definitely need to rest.....but very similar in the reyes i got. I am too inexperienced on the reyes to say more......I enjoy em both now

For the smoking or the crocs? 

Wife hates that I sometimes sit in my open garage with my socks and sandals, smoking cigars, shooting flies with my bug-a-salt gun, and waving to all the neighbors as they drive by.  Like an HOA, she tried to change that behavior until she realized, I can escalate further if pressed, now she leaves me alone.  🤣

I've found the Bug-a-salt fairly effective against the wife, it's also ensured our house stays incredibly well seasoned throughout the summer.
