2021 San Cristobal El Principe on a rainy fall evening. Flavourful little number, coffee, molasses, and tons of aromatics that I couldn’t discriminate. Reminded me of and Exibicion no4 for some reason, minus the raspberry.

Trinidad Topes from our gracious host. Picked up half a box since I had read mixed reviews on these. Perfect burn and construction. Found it needs to be smoked slowly or flavors taste like burnt dark bread. Not a bad smoke but my least favorite of the Trinidad lineup for sure. A full flavored coffee helped to save the experience.

Grilled up some fresh ground venison burgers w juniper, portobello, and green tomato. Followed by a new (to me) Koval bourbon paired with Upmanns. Friend smoked HUHC, I had the Magnum 54 (second one out of this box TUE MAY 21). Both solid. 54 had slight burn issues and was more mellow than expected but still satisfying.

Opened a new 50 cab of GRM MAY 20 HDM Epicure No. 2’s. I love 50 cabs and normally given the choice that’s what I’d buy but because the 25’s are in SLB’s I normally buy them that way. This is my first Cabinet of these and the good news is the first from the box was outstanding, maybe the best Epi 2 I’ve had. 
 

After dinner a BST FEB 21 Sir Winnie. Second one from this box, the first was disappointing but this one was great.

Siglo V on champagne 🍾 zoom. Just over 2 hours, no relights or touch ups. Needs some more down time though it had some moments of brilliance.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Churchill Maduro

Very tasty as usual for the Melanios, although this one was much milder than usual for some reason. Draw was a little bit tight, so opened it up some with the PerfecDraw tool. smoked great though.

Construction was pretty good except for one section where the wrapper peeled some.

Burn was perfect.

No idea why this one was so mild as it appears in my humidor app that I just bought it a few months ago, so it wasn't aged.

Still a great cigar though.

Oliva Serie V Liga Especial Torpedo

Definitely on the strong, full flavored side, which is good because for some reason that's what I have been in the mood for today when I typically don't like anything above medium-full.

Perfect taste, strength, burn, draw, and construction

Excellent cigar that satisfied my craving well

La Aurora 107 Lancero

Very tasty

Decent burn and perfect draw and construction

A solid 1 hour smoke for lancero lovers
