Drove to LCDH K'town and had a very good JL Nr 2 with coffee and some champagne, sunny there, only 30 min drive away ...

Another tight Monte 1 from these BOE DIC 18 boxes. Ugh. When I can get or ream out a good draw, these are great. Otherwise, frustratingly bland.

My first Diplomatico, RAT ABR 20, FOH clearance. This and the BCJ below have been sitting here since February after months of snafus with our federal delivery service. But damn, it was worth the wait and the resting time.

BCJ MSU FEB 19. These little Bolivars have to be my favorite perla/minuto/whatever-you-call-it. This one was fantastic, earthy, dark coffee and cream, and floral notes with all of that.

La Palina 2016 LE Goldie Dalia

Was dominated by the unique aged taste I commonly get, but usually only from cigars about 10 years or more. Was very pronounced for only 5 years.

Still, tasty smoke and decent burn and perfect draw and construction

The fog lifted this afternoon and a pale sun came out - 12C and off to enjoy a Farm Rolled 60x130 with closed foot at my pub.

Very solid construction, solid as a brick, great razor sharp draw, excellent flavours, solid ash, a fantastic 2 hr smoke and some news about Covid 19 in Guantanamo to read from the Cuban newspaper ...

Perfect cigar from La Meca del Tabaco. Creamy, smooth, rich - perfect !

First time I try the flying pig T52…nice flavors but way too strong for me, put it out by the final third

We cracked open a magnum of champagne and then I picked a birth year 1976 Montecristo.

I have smoked cigars since I was 18. This is the greatest cigar I have ever smoked, such depth of flavours and character.
