Smoking a Punch La Isla RE Cuba - MUR JUN 18.

Box was destroyed after flying off the 5th floor of an apartment building - but I think 2-3 cigars can be saved. I put some cigar glue on the first one and it smoked very well, great cigar !

The rest will be handed over to a friend of mine who smokes pipe - he wants the tobacco 🙂

Very happy to have received 4 intact/ undamaged boxes today. They spent some months in my HAV suitcase before being muled to Europe and finally hitting my door.

Excellent taste and perfect draw,burn and construction

Unfortunately, my last one of the Pyramids. I love all tapered heads and always try to buy everything with them if available

All around great smoke

Oliva Serie V Melanio Torpedo Maduro

Extremely tasty as always and perfect draw and construction.

Burn was pretty uneven the whole time and gave up trying to correct it.

Smoked it until the smoke was too hot and was burning my fingers though

No wow moments from this Epi Especial but I got a fire going, a $25 bottle of super silky gamay that’s drinking like a $75 bottle, my favorite pork chops over cherry+charcoal. All of this on a regular week night is pretty darn special!

Never have been much for HdM (except for those Elegantes, which I enjoy from time to time).  That said, I've had a few Epicure Especiale that have been in my humidor since 2018, and a Tuesday evening seemed like a good night for one.  

In fairness, this cigar is following a 2015 MEL Monte Edmundo (which I enjoyed earlier this evening while watching Ken and Pres review (argue about) the same  ...So, this HdM Epi is quite mild but a pleasant contrast (more herbal and completely lacking the chocolate-leather profile that struck me throughout the Edmundo).  Nice way to enjoy the autumn evening here.

...Next time I'll take your que on the fire!

Love your fall scene!! I am a bit of an HdM fanboy but haven’t found the right deal/moment to jump on the Elegantes. It’s on the list. Cheers

At 7x54, a nice long, extremely tasty smoke

If I remember correctly, all of these I have are at least 5 years old, and have never had a young one to compare to

Extremely tasty and very smooth without being too mild. About a mild-medium to medium actually.

Just an excellent smoke

My first of these.

Expected it to be similar to the RASS, but it was completely different. More mild and much smoother. A solid medium.

Extremely tasty and perfect draw and construction.

Burn was badly uneven the entire time in spite of multiple corrections.

Overall, an excellent smoke.

Will definitely be getting a box in December

The draw was a little too tight on this one. Otherwise good, fruit and wood, a little tannic due to the draw problems.
