Rarely smoke Petit Coronas but glad I did. I read a thread last week about different R&J so decided to pick up a few to try. Great little cigar, perfect with a morning coffee to start off the day.

Padron 1964 Anniversary Monarca Maduro

First Maduro 1964, and first of this vitola

Excellent taste and perfect draw,burn and construction

The 1964 line are all winners so far.

Great smokes.

2001 Montecristo Peruvian Especial No.2

Very mild, grassy, metallic and bitter with a bitter lingering aftertaste.

Only saving graces were a good feel and nice appearance plus a perfect burn, draw and construction

Lgc mdo4 at Corinthia garden bar.  Raining a lot so nice to have a covered space to smoke!  Looks like they did away with the minimum too!

LGR OCT 18/Tubos. This is my favorite of the epicures. So flavorful, less pepper and more sugar and more floral than the #2. Definitely a morning or daytime cigar.

My favorite season of the year is Bolivar Corona Gigantes season. Opening day here in Florida is when I can go outside without immediately sweating my arse off. Ends around February.

Not great unfortunately. Code is LAT OCT 18, picked them up at a casa del habano in Havana. Construction is great, wrappers look really nice but overall fairly bland, hints of the fruit flavours that I see talked but only really at the halfway point, then they fade. Been through half the box and none have been outstanding.

QdO 50 not pictured, ROTT, was lovely. Followed it up with another short fat cigar, the Tabernacle David. The only NC I still seem to enjoy. Connecticut wrapper, smoked meats, hickory briquets, some black pepper (not too much), nice oily rich smoke.
