CanuckSARTech Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Damn, Maverick, you're my hero. You must smoke 3 or 4 cc's a day. He has nothing to do right now. He has PLENTY of time on his hands. LOL. And he's one of the only ones who posts EVERYTHING he does and smokes on here. Thank gawd he doesn't have Twatter: "Done my cigar. Time to go to the bathroom." "I'm going to the bathroom now." "Made me thirsty. I need to drink more prune juice." "Man, that was hard work - I think I'll treat myself to another cigar" "Lighting up another cigar. Excellent draw. I like sucking on things." "Done my cigar. Time to go to the bathroom."
LGC Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 First nc in a loooong time Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2 No review? I smoked a 10 year old one last year while fishing (Power Ranger I think). I smoked about half of it before I decided to rescue my palate and send it floating down the river.
Guest rob Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 First nc in a loooong time Mate, what were your thoughts?? I had an aged Opus X last week that was nearly enough to turn me off cigars for good!

celtmick1984 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 CLE ABR 01 Cohiba Lancero: very nice: nutmeg, cream and caramel in spots, with a zip on the lips, wonderfully balanced, though the draw was a bit tight until the halfway mark. Will box dry the rest of these to see if that opens them up.
UpInSmoak Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Last night - HQ Partagas Lusitania, the wrapper was terribly damaged (all fault of my own). I couldn't bear the thought of tossing it. So with some cigarette rolling paper (rice paper) and cigar glue I decided to bandaged this baby up. It smoked surprising well! And a close-up of the big split
alxs25 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Run 5 miles today and to celebrate that made myself a big cup of Turkish coffee followed with a JL No 2. Sweet !!
mbrody Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Tasty and smooth Boli CG 08 while out on the Sporting Clays course...
Surucipe Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 2007 H Upmann Robusto from the travel Humidor. Very enjoyable stick, burn was a bit all over the place for the frist cm or so but behaved well for the rest of the cigar. There wasn't a trace of harshness at all, and I smoked this one until the very last mm's. Pity this travel humidor came with only 6 cigars, have already smoked 2 of them so only 4 left. Pity!
