Very smooth, mellow and mild, but still fairly tasty and a monster at 8x50

Perfect draw and burn

For construction, it peeled badly around the middle but the wrapper wasn't at all brittle like is usually the case with 10+ year old cigars for me. Still don't think it was a construction issue.

Overall, a nice mellow morning smoke

HDM Epicure Especial

Extremely tasty as always. Love the Epicure line.

Cold draw was fairly tight so ran the Perfecdraw through each end and it was excellent while smoking.

Burn and construction were excellent as usual

Consistently great smokes

FEB 19 Exquisito ROTT.

Mild, caramel-y, brown sugar, really lovely! Sweet and spicy, esp delectable in the final third. Ginger snaps!

 Cracked a new box of TSM OCT 19 Siglo I’s. Forgot it wasn’t opened yet. Been in the humidor almost a year. I still have multiple partial boxes from various years as far back as 2006. Was ok but definitely needs time. Love the older ones. 
 

Then a MGL DIC 19 Cohiba Esplendidos. Very good. Unfortunately I don’t have any of these from 2006 😂

2014 PLPC with coffee to start the day. For those whom are searching the caramel sweet notes on these I suggest pairing them with a black coffee. I find it really brings them out.

Yes, very much so, thank you ! Spicy and nice although maybe too fresh, had to relight a few times, too moist.

Where do you live that you have had a freeze this early?

Has definitely cooled off significantly here, highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's, so it's rapidly approaching here too, but no freeze yet here in Wyoming.

Maybe around the end of the month though

I smoked another "damaged goods" CR 109 today before dinner after I used Perfect Cigar Glue to patch over the splits in the wrapper.

Perfect - really peaches & cream. Loved it !

Ashton ESG 20 Year Salute

Tasty smoke.
Good draw, burn required several corrections.

Construction, not sure.
Wrapper cracked and peeled badly all over from normal, gentle handling while smoking.

No idea why, its only a 2019 and I know that Gary stores his smokes at 65% just like me, and had a boveda in with it during its short 3 day journey.

Definitely not a $20 cigar for sure though.
The price is WAY out of line for them

Pretty good taste, but a but too much on the fuller flavor side for me.

Perfect draw, burn and construction though

Certainly not a bad smoke and I'm sure fans of full flavored smokes would probably like them, but just not for me.

Maybe after a few years these would mellow out enough for my tastes and be excellent Cigars, but I just don't have the space to be aging, so wont be buying more to find out.
