Popular Post RDB Posted September 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2021 Lusitania from UEB NOV 18, a PSP box and living up to the grade. This one was firmly rolled but the burn was spot on. Some Lusis can be very mild to start, but this was more on the darker burnt toast side of things. Enough richness to keep it from being dirty though, with little whisps of sweetness floating in and out. By the last third we’re in deep and complex mode. Loved it. Do the people rolling Lusis take more pride than average? I think so. It’s obviously a flagship cigar, and one that’s generally going to be lit up by people who really like to smoke! 26
Popular Post smbauerllc Posted September 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2021 Diamond Crown (CFW) Robusto No.2 Excellent mild-medium strength and great taste. Decent burn and perfect draw. Construction-wise, most of the wrapper cracked and peeled off just from normal handling while smoking. Very thin and brittle. Not really a big deal to me though as it still smoked just fine. Overall, not a bad smoke LFdC Elegidos Extremely tasty, a mild-medium for the first half, becoming a solid medium for the second half. Perfect draw, burn and construction A great smoke for the price 17

Popular Post prshah25 Posted September 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2021 Good young cigar.. these need age for greatness. Just have to remember to smoke these really slow.. 26

Popular Post El Hoze Posted September 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2021 I don’t smoke a ton of Fundies, or drink a ton of chardonnay, but tonight is the night. 30
Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted September 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2021 It was a real shit day at work today. I was totally understaffed and I'm pretty sure I pissed off every department in the hospital who were all begging for extra anesthesia staff that I just couldn't provide for them. This Siglo VI is making it all better though. 34 1

Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted September 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 22, 2021 I've been remiss in posting. Wife's away, so have had cigars every day. Tonight enjoying a LGC Revolution Asia Pacific ER, thanks to our host, FOH. It's my first La Gloria (damn, they're tough to get a hold of). While I prefer something a bit thinner (and always love a figurado over a parejo), I must say that the flavors of this montesco are wonderful. ...My only challenge seems to be the rain. It's as if it's hurricane season over here or something (though "knock on wood" we've been lucky so far). All the best, -c 28
Popular Post patrickamory Posted September 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 22, 2021 Punch Punch A/T, a birthday present from my mother. I couldn't ask her to do 24:24 so these don't come from our host... but they are RAT FEB 20 and after 90 days of rest are completely on point. Started off like the hot cocoa we got from the vending machine as miserable fourth graders at ice skating class, the little paper cup that would drop down (had to make sure it landed right side-up or the liquid wouldn't make it in), followed by cocoa, then hot milk, the the little dried marshmallows. Smooth, comforting, just that nearly burnt taste alloyed by dairy and sweet. Construction was perfect, and the stick burned evenly all the way to the nub. In the last third, it developed unexpected complexity, notes of cumin and Aleppo pepper making their way into the smooth mellowness, which nonetheless dominated through the end of the smoke. Not a hint of bitter or acrid even with just a centimeter or so left. Could have continued to smoke but had to preserve my fingers. A+++! 28

It reminds me of my childhood because I distinctly remember my Dad having and using one like that in the days when cigarette smoking was much more prominent in Western society (as in the 1970s). 1

Evening Smoked at this time not bad, but a little light and hay taste (dry grass) to me. Reminded me more of a CF roll south of the border or a young not ready Cohiba. We’ll just have to see which path the development goes on these IMO… 4

Absolutely loved the 1 Fundadore I have had so far. Unfortunately, due to cost I was only able to get a fiver, so I'm trying to really pace myself on the remaining 4, but they are just so tempting, lol 3

It started off with some bitterness that I associate to a young cigar. But the bitterness faded and it developed into a nice flavorful smoke. I expect these to get much better with more time down. 1
Popular Post smbauerllc Posted September 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 22, 2021 HDM Le Hoyo de San Juan outstanding taste and perfect draw and construction. Burn was a little wavy the entire length, but not badly, and there is a pretty good breeze, so that probably didn't help All around great Cigar. Always enjoyable '16 PLMC Delicious. Very smooth and mellow, yet plenty flavorful. This is one cigar I can say has improved with age, even though I really enjoy the young too Perfect draw, burn and construction An excellent smoke. Glad to have 12 more. 19
