Popular Post patrickamory Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Awwright, my first Lusitania. I gave it 90 minutes and still had most of the final third. Unfortunately my smoking window was up. Draw and construction was perfect. Not the slightest touch-up needed. Wonderful chocolate and almonds on the first third. It got more austere into the second, with notes of coriander seed and cumin (I did make Indian food tonight, hmm). Some spice, and eventually some bitter notes, which is possibly me puffing too much. Very much looking forward to the next one, for which I will set aside 2 1/2 hours 🤪 31

Have a little patience with these (3 years?) and you’re in for a treat …just as much fullness as an 898 although a different flavor profile …less complexity definitely ….but this is full on black coffee in a cigar if I’ve ever had jt ….really nice smoke gents Big fan of J Wakefield beer. Can be very experimental in a good way as I recall. ...Haven't seen their product up in SC for a while unfortunately. (That stout looks like a "big" one, unusually so. How was it?)
Popular Post LLC Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 After some awesome chicken wings on the KJ, I enjoyed a TLE SEP 20 while roasting maple syrup glazed pecans. 26

Popular Post Bijan Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 2003 Hoyo des dieux. 2007 el Laguito CCE (PLM ENE 07). Hazelnut coffee with cream. Totally unexpected. If I were smoking this blind I would probably have been stumped. 27

Popular Post Jackinkc Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Sorry for the terrible pic. Sun was still coming up. This comes from a SOU NOV 20 box that I got from here. Basically smoking one ROTT. I wanna say they came in less than two week ago. They are already delicious. It’s always a treat when you can tell very early on that a box is going to be fantastic. 25

Popular Post jhalischuk Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Short REG ENE 2019. First one from this box, mostly just leather. Will probably let them sit for a while longer. 27
Popular Post Spaceman Spiff Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Lancero - damn fine smoke - but then for the price of a Casdagli, it had better be haha. 16

Popular Post smbauerllc Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Aging Room Bin No.1 B Minor Excellent taste, a solid medium, and perfect draw, burn and construction Great smoke. Added a few to my cart Oliva Serie G Maduro Churchill Very mellow and smooth and extremely tasty. A solid mild-medium. Would definitely get more for an easy morning smoke 11
Bijan Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 7 hours ago, Lrabold89 said: Quite the combo ….how were they overall ? Delicious and smoked well? Both had perfect construction and no relights. Both delicious. The CCE probably the better cigar but the unexpected flavours threw me off a bit (hazelnut coffee with cream). The des dieux smoked like the previous ones I had (fruit, tannic wood and some creaminess). I actually smoked that one on Friday night and it was humid so I picked the lightest cigar I could find and it smoked ok until the end. 2
Popular Post GVan Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Been on a run of short smokes ... SCdlH Principe last of the box (LGR JUN-18), RyJ MF (ELU MAR-14), PLP with just a hint of sweetness (ASR JUN-17), Boli CJ - this box is really getting special (MSU JUL-19), and another SCdlH Principe from the next opened box (LGR JUN-18) same goodness as the last box, maybe even smoother from sitting untouched another few months. 26
Popular Post El Hoze Posted September 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2021 Glad my instinct told me to buy 5 boxes of these despite not being a big ER guy. Have only had a couple but so far I’d say these are a fantastic cigar. Amazing it’s been 3 years. Jets game on here down in Florida, not every day I get to watch my team lose live on TV. 23
