Ptowncigar Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Had to wash my mouth out with a BRC, after a sour RASS. Real bummer, I'm a fan of RASS.
maverickdrinker Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 2001 Bolivar Demi Tasse. This toothpick of a cigar makes a wallop that is impressive and surprising. I am in awe. Thanks Chris!

dicko Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 R&J Duke LE 09 - kindly gifted by Steve (ozcuban). Think I "dry-boxed" this too long (ie left it in a hot car for 3 days :-/ )
MattW Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 My first try of the 'fabled' Montecristo Open range, I bought this Junior around a year ago just to give them a try. Overall I didn't think it was too bad... Nor did I think it was that good either. I probably wouldn't buy one again, but I wouldn't say no if offered one! Lasted around 30 minutes, construction was good, draw was very good and burn was good until the final 1/3 when it started going a bit wonky. Was around mild-to-medium and was very smooth all the way through, no harshness or bitterness at all, but I struggled to get any real or interesting flavours from it.
Surucipe Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 RA Superiores – Mild to medium body, nice and smooth, sharp accurate burn all the way till the end, superb construction. A very enjoyable 1hr smoke but found it hard to define what actual flavours I got from it.
ajgagnon Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Had a R&J Churchill tubo at my dad's place day before yesterday, before the snow hammered our city. Nice woody, slightly graham/cashew/peanut and umami is what I got. Nice cigar in that tubo... well preserved and a pretty specimen with smooth, lighter wrapper with tight veins.
maverickdrinker Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 This morning..... Sample #7: BHK 52 of the Cohiba Behike Project.
maverickdrinker Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 starting the afternoon with a 1990 H Upmann Amatistas....
Rye Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Tried to start with an Oliva V lancero, it wasn't smokable, moving on to either an LGC Inmensos, or an '06 BBF...
BMack Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 A little too humid outside, really messed up with the burn. Very bland flavor, tough to blame the cigar though with how humid it was outside.
jacktarnold Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Partagas Lusi UPO ABR08 from LFTW a few weeks ago. Even with only resting for a week after shipping this was fantastic.
