A little celebration smoke and drink in the garden, after my boy came back happy from his first day at secondary school. Trinidad Media Luna from BSM ENE 20. This had that lovely golden flecked with green wrapper that I only see on Trini. Down to the last three now, these have all smoked well despite being so young. Great full flavour, subtle pastry sweetness to them, moving from just under to just over medium body. Perfect burn throughout. Habanos SA are obviously doing great work with this marca.

Thanks for the mini-review! Happy that I recently snagged a box of these on 24:24. Still trying for the Coloniales, but three strikes so far... it's like a one minute window!

Opened a box of MEL OCT 15 RACA. Haven’t had one in a while and I have always enjoyed them. This was another great one.

When I received this box a few months ago I promised myself I was going to lay it down for the long term. Tried one as a baseline and was blown away. Dug in again and this one is even better. Salt, nuts, bread, honey, a flavor bomb. Probably going to have to find another box if I ever want to try one of these with some age.

RASCC from OER OCT 20

Excellent 55 minute smoke, with perfect draw & burn. Medium bodied, flavors detected on the retrohale include leather & earth, with a raisin-esque overtone that kicked in after the 1st five minutes. 

Definitely recommend...

'17 La Aroma de Cuba LE Nobelesse

Excellent, unique flavor, on the milder side and very mellow and smooth.

Draw was fairly tight, should have used my PerfecDraw on it, but got better as it progressed so no big deal.

Construction was excellent.

Burn was persistently off in spite of multiple corrections, but not terribly

Overall a very nice, tasty smoke with a nice longer burn time

Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch Campeon

A mouthful of a name, but produced a nice mouthful of smoke, so...

Excellent taste. Very smooth and mellow.

Burn and construction were perfect, as was the draw after a few passes with the Perfecdraw.

Unfortunately, was crooked on the last one and put a big tear in it, but some glue and a piece of wrapper from a butt fixed it right up

A great Cigar and my first Aganorsa Leaf.

I went with the Mi Querida Triqui Traca Toro for a post work smoke to kick off Labor Day weekend! Not at home and cannot remember box date but it's a recent purchase so my guess is 19 or 20.

Great smoke, quite spicy with a lot of savory charred meat type notes. I think I still prefer the original however as the original has such a unique earthy-mineral like profile that I just love.

Trinidad Esmerelda paired with a Boulevardier that came up on a zoom conversation with @JohnS@Bijan and @MrBirdman   Thanks for the tip on not skimping on the vermouth. Jury’s out but so far ok!
