JL2 ATE Oct 19 from 24:24 purchase. Cointreau orange right off the bat. Coffee and chocolate came through next. Final 3rd coffee more of espresso style turning it a tad bitter. Another year or so should smooth that out I feel.

A day to celebrate with some special cigars : Today I am 12 years retired from Lufthansa.

First cigar is a 1985 Bolivar Especiales Nr 2 from MRN's collection.

Peaches and cream & excellent to the last puff. Fantastic !

First time I had a minty sensation on this... Might be the pairing with a fizzy ice tea, but was quite remarkable.

Temperature makes a huge difference. I can smoke in the open while it's snowing in winter but if I'm somewhere covered outside when it's raining in summer cigar is ruined.

OBM OCT 15 Siglo IV. The Siglo III and IV have always been two of my favorite cigars. This one did not disappoint.

@Bijan and @NSXCIGAR got me thinking about Sports Largos on another thread. This one is a 2019 example with a lighter wrapper than my box of 2015s. This one is sweeter too.

Quai d'Orsay Panatela from the plugged pile. This is the second cigar from the bunch that was plugged just at the head and opened up from a small application of the perfecdraw.

Opened with wood, then aroma of cloves for the first bit. A bit sweeter now

Switched the heater on.

The MC#2 have been excellent as el prez has noted many times. i have been cutting these young and no regrets. fantastic tobacco imo.
