Yeah, that's why I'm not really an aged Cigar guy. Some are great, some are bland and flavorless, you just never really know how long to let them age. Of about the 30 aged and Vintage Cigars I have had, half that would have been great smokes young, had become bland, flavorless and musty. Real shame. I have decided not to do any intentional aging, and wont be seeking out, and especially paying a premium for, aged Cigars. Too hit ir miss how they will be, and even the ones that weren't bland and flavorless weren't "better" than recent production ones, just different 8 hours ago, ChangBang said: Cohiba siglo III. Yup just as great as my last one! Next hq/psp box and im in! The siglo's are some of my favorite Cohibas, especially being amongst the cheapest Cohibas there are. I like the Siglo II'S for the "cheap" price, but not too small like the Siglo I's. Nice PC size that I can stretch to an hour if I pace myself. Was generously gifted a Siglo V I'm anxious to try. Curious how much the significantly larger size effects the taste. 4 hours ago, Chucko8 said: Delicious double Edmundo from 2015 this afternoon Many dont seem to care for the various sized Edmundos. I really enjoy the Edmundo and Double Edmundo quite a bit, but then again I enjoy the not very popular Open line quite a bit, so I'm a weirdo apparently, lol Being on the milder side to begin with, how did the age affect it?

Popular Post Nino Posted August 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2021 Nice few hours at LCDH Kaiserslautern smoking a RA Superiores and watching many USAF C-17 Reach aircraft on final approach to Ramstein AFB. Evac flights from Kabul and Doha that have started bringing Afghan evacuees to Ramstein as of today. Hooked up with 2 active US military guys at the Casa and we shared 4,5 hrs of cigars, good talks and memories of far away places and better (old) times. 30

Popular Post ReturnFreeRisk Posted August 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 21, 2021 Back when I first started smoking cigars I was fortunate enough to stumble upon some original release Fuente 2006 Don Carlos Anniversario. These smoke nothing like NC to me. Bread, yeasty sweetness, a tropical rum spice note, zero pepper. Glad I decided to pluck this one at the 15yr mark. Our farmer processed hogs this summer and did some chorizo bratwurst this time. Smoked a few over cherry. Nothing like the pleasurable excess of eating fatty meat while having a cigar…Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 21

I've only had one, 2016 Sir Winston I was generously gifted because they are out of my reach unless I do a box split, but really enjoyed it and can see why they are so popular and can be difficult to find in stock. 1

Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted August 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 22, 2021 After a 15 hour work day, my first ever BAS DIC 2015 R&J Churchill. Can't understand the dislike of R&J from some folks. Beautiful razor sharp burn, hints of cherry, stonefruit, pencil shavings, ( wierd huh?) and just over all smooth cigar. Sourced from the host. Thanks FoH. 25
