Tasty little smoke with lots of flavor

Draw was fairly tight, but got better as it went along.

Burn and construction were excellent though

Will definitely be buying a box with next months order

Burn was pretty far off the entire length inspite of multiple correction attempts

It happens, and doesn't discourage me from buying more in the future

Why, why have I not been smoking these before now? MC#1 from 2018. Just lovely. The first inch or so has that wonderful ‘long format’ mildness. Then a steady transition from cream to cocoa (not chocolate), with building intensity. Perfect burn on this one. Yeah!

LTO ABR 20 Serie E No. 2. Last from a box of 5. Great final cigar which make 2 that were great, 2 not good at all and 1 average. My first go at these and I like the size but the overall experience doesn’t inspire confidence in them.

Well, just got back from dinner with my wife.  We ate at our favorite restaurant for the 5th and last time for summer 2021.  We have been regulars there for 20 years, so the hostess gave us a good table, right next to Michael J. Fox.  

Now, I don't know about different age groups, or people in different countries, but when you are a 52 year old American, you grew up with Michael J Fox.  Family Ties, Back To The Future, Doc Hollywood, etc.  I didn't bother him, but it felt pretty cool eating dinner just 3 feet away from him.  

But at the end of his dinner, he grabbed his cane, and shuffled out of there as fast as he could, I think in the hopes that people wouldn't see him walking with the cane.  It made me pretty sad actually.  I wanted to follow him out to the parking lot and tell him "Nobody cares about the cane.  You are still a freaking legend!", but I resisted.

Anyway, now I am back home smoking a CoRo.

AF Hemingway Classic

Just as tasty as everything in the Hemingway line, but with a nice, long smoke time.

Perfect draw, burn and construction also.

If you are a fan of the Short Story or other small Hemingway's, I highly recommend checking these out to extend your enjoyment time

Diamond Crown Maduro Robusto No.4

Quute mild in the first half, likely due to age as the cellophane was quite yellow, but not to the point of being bland or flavorless.

Picked up to a medium for the second half though.

Very tasty and very attractive with a smooth, jet black wrapper.

Excellent draw and construction, but the burn was stubbornly off a fair bit the entire length inspite of multiple correction attempts.

Regardless, a mellow, smooth, tasty smoke

One of my all time favorite smokes.

Definitely planning to split a box in the near future

I always l liked MJF.  But to be honest, it wasn't until his health issues that I felt he transcended into legendary status.  His desire to work through is decease, him maintaining a sense of humour, him not feeling sorry for himself for a second, I couldn't have more respect for him.......a top man.      He's an inspiration, and yes your right, he shouldn't give 2 F's  what anyone else thinks.

If they were free, I would just smoke Siglo VI and Esmeraldas all day and not bother with many of the other cigars that I smoke now. I like all the cigars I smoke regularly, and there are some that I do love, and if I want a nice change with a cigar I love, I'll smoke something like a Sir Winston or a Hoyo DC.  

But most of the other cigars I smoke are just cigars I like.  I don't love them, but I enjoy them.  Occasionally, one of them will blow me away.  One of the best cigars I ever smoked was a PSD4, but as a general rule, they are a step down, but one that I enjoy enough to keep in my regular rotation.

Was that a JL1 I was smoking?  It was pretty good.
