Went for a Genios (REG Sep 2019) this evening -- hoping for an interesting contrast to last night's Talisman splurge, ...which ended up true. 

I found the draw of the Genios to be much tighter (despite keeping it at 63% since 2019) than the T, but the flavour (to me) is subtly much more rich, and differentiated by the thirds.  (Guessing that the wider girth of the Talisman  -- just 2/64ths -- helps it perform well throughout.)  But the Genios, perhaps due to its beautifully dark wrapper -- this experience is more complex and progressive in its 3rds.  Both were wonderful experiences, just different, ...and I'd be inclined towards more Genios.  

ps:  Except for the perfect construction, the last 1/3rd of the Genios is distinct from any Cohiba I have ever had.  This is my first (slightly) aged Genios.  I had one after buying the box, but it paled in comparison.  While I am a big fan of the Secretos; they themselves are their own petite, flavour bombs, though distinctly different from the "round" cedar and impressive finish to the Genios. 

...All just personal experience of course, ...and in case any of that is helpful.

Today a UTL JUN 18 Trinidad Vigia. Solid cigar.

After a great dinner in the KJ a TOS DIC 15 HU Mag 56. First one in a while and it didn’t disappoint.

The past few days - SCdlH Principe (LGR JUN-18), Monte #2 (MSU NOV-18) with an Old Fashion, JL-2 (RUM AGO-19) and RGPC (SOM MAY-17).  The JL2 was the star of the week although the Monte wasn't far behind!

SLR Regios from my sampler (thank you FOH!)… this was a very decent cigar but I did not taste any nutty flavours, some nice floral / fruit in last half though.

I was gifted this in London from memory. La Invicta Petit Corona  (Nicaraguan). 

Just over 12 months in my humidor I suspect. Reasonably priced. 

I like to smoke Nic/NC cigars from a range of manufacturers particularly in the skinny lines (south of 43 RG). With what I am doing with Nudies/Desnudo, it gives me a line on how we are tracking. 

Excellent construction on this Invicta.Draw is good and not too easy. Flavours are there but in the background. Light bodied but I am left wanting for a personality. There is a serious hole in the palate encounter that perplexes/disappoints me. 

Photo is reaching  the opening third but it hasn't really changed. 

If you are a PC or thinner gauge, you really need to make a flavour statement. I am not talking pepper bomb (god forbid a low skill execution) but rather a nuanced delivery of "statement".
