FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Some nice smokes on holiday in Germany, including this RyJ Churchill from ESL MAY 18. Really satisfying transition of flavours from initially lighter and ‘dryer’, to a building richness in the middle, and then adding spice that made the last third the best. All that classic sweet Romeo rose / cherry flavour but with real oomph. Only problem was that the nicotine eventually beat me - and I couldn’t sleep for hours afterwards!

A few sticks from last weekend and this week. 

Stopped by my local b&m last week and to my surprise, they still had a box of T110 Sumatra’s they were holding with my name on it. Decided to smoke both Sumatra and Maduro b2b for a little test. They didn’t get any Habanos in unfortunately. I think I liked the maduro better (never happens for me) but could smoke the Sumatra more frequently. I think I need to go pickup a box of the broadleaf..

RAT-NOV-20 Galanes 

Tight draw opened up in the second third. Flavors ok. Faint orange peel, sweet tobacco, hazelnut. Soft, floral like retro. They’re good but need lots of rest. 

BSM-DIC-20 Media Luna.

La Unica 300

Extremely tasty, with a unique prominent flavor I just can't describe but very different from anything else I've tasted before.

Also perfect draw,burn and construction

A great smoke, I would confidently recommend it

Montecristo Especiales No.2

Have smoked quite a few, and they were great, and problem free, but this one ended that streak.

Fairly tight draw, but livable

Construction wise, seemed fine

Burn, way off the first two thirds, inspite of many correction attempts. Also kept getting just shy of going out at the same time.

Finally in the last third the burn corrected, draw opened up, and quit trying to go out.

All together, a very disappointing experience

TPO JUN 20 Churchill. Nice rose water, cream, cedar blend. Good, but uniform experience the whole way down. Impeccable burn and construction on this box so far.

I really like all the Fonsecas.

Haven't had a no.1 in about 10 years,but someone is generously gifting me a few.

Just got my box of Delicias the other day.

Very tasty and very flavorful little buggers

Definitely a nice quicker smoke, and I don't really consider the Fonsecas I've had to be particularly mild like there reputation is.

They all seem like a nice solid medium to me

Only one I have had was a 2016 that I was generously gifted and smoked it on the 4th of July in celebration.

It was excellent in every regard

Would love to get a few more, but they only come in boxes which are way out of reach for me in price.

Will have to do a box split or private sale for a few.

How do you know it is genuine Cuban ... ?

It comes wrapped in the official Cuban Communist Party newspaper "Granma" denouncing the US embargo back in Dec. 2019 ... 🙂

Excellent taste

Burn was off a bit in the first third, but a couple corrections fixed that

Draw was perfect

Construction was good. Only issue was the wrapper cracked in a couple spots in the middle. Has been in my 65% tupperdor for several months, so it certainly wasn't too dry or over humidified. Not a bug deal at all though.

Overall, a great Cigar. Will definitely pick up more in the future

Excellent taste and perfect draw,burn and construction throughout the entire smoke

Really great smoke. Would love to get more, but they appear to be in store only everywhere.

Will keep hunting though

The Habano T110 is excellent. Haven’t had the sumatra. Heard the broadleaf (reserva) is the bomb too.

Only thing that could make that better is if it was an August box date too.

Still very cool to have her birth year and enough to smoke on celebration for that long.

I love Habano wrapped smokes.  The Sumatra is good but yahhhh… thr broadleaf is excellent and I usually don’t like maduro sticks.

Kon Tiki - 2nd from the box - Yum.  Added a roller sun shade to the west side of the pavilion, turned out great
