An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

If its too fresh it may not taste well. Age it 90 days before smoking  any cigar.

Agree. These have been in cabinet humi since May. I gifted one to a very seasoned cc smoker of 30 yrs and he liked it.

Yes, this was better :)

Relatively young. January 2020.

For the fat Hoyos, my 2 cents:

Young Rio Seco - Yes

Young San Juan - No

After two Foursquare the only thing I would be fishing for is another Foursquare! I can do beers and fish but not rum!

Tight Lines

Haha. I’ve held it to one taste a day before we go out. My new favorite drink.

Why don't you care for a young San Juan?

Just curious as I have smoked both young and really enjoyed them both enough to but more

I just find the young San Juans a little rougher with more of a peppery bite when they're young whereas the young Rio Secos all have been smooth, creamy, and twangy without that bite...just my opinion. The San Juans do age into smooth twangy goodness after a few years though.

That's cool. I understand.
I can't say I have noticed the peppery bite, but I haven't smoked any in a few months, so possibly don't recall as that isn't really a turn off for me

Olivia Series V Melanio Churchill. Full bodied. Notes of cocoa, cinnamon, background of cedar.

Excellent Cigars. I love the Melanios, especially the Churchills
