Just had my first one ever a few days ago and thought it was excellent, and a nice departure from the Epicure line I smoke a lot of.

Will definitely be hunting down a few more singles or a fiver in a private sale

Which Montecristo is it? Can't see the second band well enough to tell.

I'm a huge Montecristo fan and definitely smoke more of them and have more different vitolas of them than anything else in my stash

Tried one of these yesterday. Gift from a friend who doesn’t smoke cigars but knows where to find a good tobacconist so I was pretty curious. 
Nice chocolate flavors. A bit of harshness developed over time. Cigar was very well rolled, almost a bit too easy of a draw for me. 
First NC for me in a long time. Can’t say that I’ll be revisiting more NC anytime soon. One dimensional.  Good for poolside conversation when I’m drinking and not particularly thinking about the cigar and can get by some harsh edges. 
Back to the CC for me for a while.

Tasty as always and good draw, burn and construction.

Very good smoke, especially for the relatively low cost for a vitola this size and from one of the big, popular marcas.

Ah,explains why I didn't recognize it.
I'm sure those are well outside my price range.

Took time for a Hdm epicure especial before the eu championship final. Larger vitola than I usually go for but had this last one from a 3-pack gift. A good smoke, especially after significant drilling with perfect draw, but nothing I would buy myself.

Busy weekend enjoying climate-controlled smoking here in soggy Florida. Testing ventilation solutions in the new smoking room. The standout of the bunch was the Hemingway BTL, circa 2015. It was magnificent. Everything else was fairly young and great, except the PLPC. Nice flavors but tight draw, all set to be a caramel bomb in 2 to 3 years, not 5. I reckon I got lucky with those based on what I've read around here lately.

How does this 1792 compare to the Small Batch? I’ve only ever had that and absolutely love it. 

I enjoy both, but I give the BIB the upper hand by a decent margin.

Vigia from our host when these couldn’t sell out due to the massive ring gauge. I recall they were looked over when released unlike the Esmeralda and ML but they hold a place in my humidor.

thats turning into an excellent box for me. i think they have serious legs but wont last in my humi at there present excellence
