It’s definitely in a sick period but I can taste the greatness behind it! Lots of graham cracker with bright citrus and honey. Another 3-6 months and these will be firing on all cylinders! Happy Birthday!! Kaptain

Popular Post Bigfatpuff
Hong Kong is getting too hot to smoke recently. Daily smoke turns into weekly smoke. These two elegant sticks, one is from 2000, one is from 2019, both enjoyable. 从我的 iPhone 发送,使用 Tapatalk

ReturnFreeRisk
22 hours ago, stevenhaugen said: Davidoff represents a big part of my humidor and my favourite three are the Yamasa, Escurio and Nicaragua lines. The Yamasa is absolutely banging and a very flavourful smoke - because of the land they farm the tobacco on (old swamp land) it's an incredibly firey and rich smoke. My favourite vitola is the Toro which I think brings out the best in the blend although the Piramdes is a close second. I personally find these stronger and richer than my favourite CC, the BBF. Escurio has the Mato Fino tobacco from Brazil and is a very different type of taste. It's a love/hate thing but I personally love it although not had the Primeros. I find the Toro to again be the best size followed by the Gran Perfecto (make sure you cut this a bit further down otherwise it will explode). The Corona Gorda is also fantastic and my favourite overall vitola of cigar although I don’t think it shows the blend as well as the Toro or Gran Perfecto or maybe just my palate. If you are into stronger cigars, definitely try the Nicaragua Box Pressed Toro (it has a few extra ligero leafs in it than the non-box pressed Nicaragua). This was beyond amazing for me. Enjoy and let me know how you get on Great info. Nearly all of my small NC humidor is Davidoff and AF anejo. Yamasa is by far the richest for me too and the standout; so complex on all areas of the tongue. I go for the pyramid. Escurio blend has a bit of clash on my palate with such bold deep tobacco notes and then the bright citrus/pith bitter doesn’t mesh for me - still not a bad cigar. Working my way through Nicaragua Toros and this is one of the few of all cigar blends I have tried that truly affects me due to strength. Bri Fi
@Jonboy4074 it was 89/100. It’s only been resting about 20 days from arrival. I knew I didn’t let it rest long enough but the kids were sleeping and I’ve been dying to have one. I’m sure with 60 days down they will blossom.
Popular Post Ites
JL1 MTS FEB20. My first of the marca, which undoubtedly is different than other marca I've tried. It draws easy after a punch cut, burns very evenly and has a flavour I cannot quite place. I am inclined to say I wish it was sweeter, but overall it is not bad at all. Fortunately I have another one from the same box so let's see if I can make up my mind after that.
Popular Post smbauerllc
Cuaba Exclusivos Tasty as always for a Cuaba. Great construction and draw, but burn was a little bit off most of the way, as always seems to happen with figarados for me, but only once was enough to need correction. Bit shorter smoke time than you would think for 5.75x46, but close enough to my preferred hour to hoye and a half, that it still left me feeling satisfied Will definitely be keeping a couple of these in stock as much as possible Would love to have the Distinguidos instead, but the price for them is ridiculous imho Rafael Gonzalez Panetela Extra My first of this vitola Very tasty and good draw, burn and construction Draw was a little tighter than I prefer, but still very smokable and good volume. For the price, would definitely buy more Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva Flor Fina 8-5-8 Rosado Sun Grown On the milder side and very mellow and smooth but still plenty of great flavor. Very much enjoyed it and glad I have 16 left. Perfect draw and construction, burn was a little bit off throughout, but not enough to need correction. Last night right before bed. 1940 Don Pablo Excellent taste and burn, draw and construction. Lots of smoke volume and as usual with a Vintage Cigar, very good, unique taste. Definitely enjoyed it. Still had a surprising amount of flavor for being 80 years old. Even had a little "bite" on the finish still.
Popular Post CampDelta369
D4 LMB OCT 18 have been smoking really well. These were a PHQ mix from our host. Partagas has been a consistent Marca for me and i can see why the D4 is a forum favorite.

Popular Post Chibearsv
EOS JUL 19. This isn’t the prettiest box of Espys, green water spots and a few weird veins but they smoke brilliantly and taste delicious. Bar none, the best box of cigars I’ve ever had. Aside from visual flaws, it’s my kind of perfection. This one turns a bad day into a good one. 😎

Popular Post Bijan
Leyenda last night on zoom with @MrBirdman. His had wrapper bursting construction problems, but it seemed he was getting better flavours than I was. I got more or less generic Monte flavours. Followed it up with a lowly Joyita which was better, richer chocolate, some twang, which is rare because they very often have construction issues. As a matter of fact had another Joyita today with construction issues, poor draw and mushy. 30
