Contemplating all the work that is yet to be done and products and furniture to be delivered for my upcoming covered porch/cigar lounge. Lotta work to go down in the next six weeks or so. Working from home may not suck as much. Cigar is outstanding. Glad to have a few more boxes in the mail before the price increase. Nice. I recently discovered the Coloniales and fell in love. One of my top favorite smokes now. Once I get a coolerdor in a couple months will definitely be on my very short list of smokes to get boxes of. 19 hours ago, Lrabold89 said: These are tasty smokes for sure Don’t dip in too soon …I think these just hit 2 years box age ….a world of difference from a year ago Very nice. Big HDM fan, especially anything in the Epicure line. Luckily I have been getting all 2019 and 2020 stock so far and they seem to be regarded as exceptionally good years 18 hours ago, SigmundChurchill said: I somehow ended up with a rare CoRo Culebras. It was a tight draw and fell apart half way through. HDM DC Damn, that sucks about the CoRo. For what they cost, and being Cuba's flagship marca, I would certainly expect much better from them. @Trimming How are the Asia Pacifico ER's? They seem to be the most common ER that shows up in these types of threads on multiple forums. I figure there has to be some reason for that 2
Trimming Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Not bad, some of the brands profile. Some sharpness, not fully where it’s going yet (IMO). I enjoyed them a little more fresh than now at this time, but we will see where they go. 1

I think these will end up being a staple marca in my supply 1

Construction and flavors are always spot on for the ones I like.

Some perplexing, some with poor construction and defects, some not properly loved for, then some that are utterly spectacular 😁 3 6
Popular Post smbauerllc Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 SCdlH La Punta Very tasty and good draw, burn and construction. Have really enjoyed every SCdlH I have ever tried. Excellent marca Flor de Ybor City Toro Maduro Very tasty and great burn, draw and construction, especially for a fairly cheap cigar. Planning to pick up a Sampler of the marca to try out a few of the other vitolas without having to by 5 of any Single vitola 25
smbauerllc Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 @kcmontie Nice. Have only had 1 so far, but really enjoyed the 1935 Dumas quite a bit. Assuming the second one I have is consistent, I will be buying more, even at the high price. I'm a big Montecristo fan, with it being my favorite marca. How was the Partagas EL? Just beginning to dip my toe into the EL and ER realm of cc's, with 4 new to me ER's set up for smoking in next months supply, so any info is always helpful. 1
Popular Post Bijan Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 ERDM Demi Tasse, 20 minutes, first third spice, and then honey and vanilla for the rest. RyJ Petit Julietas 37 minutes, sweet cherry in and out with some more earthy charcoal type flavour. 2008 Punch Royal Selection no. 12. Still had a quite tannic woody flavour mixed with a fruity melon flavour. Had a bit of an oily fireproof wrapper and tunnelled a fair bit. Used @PigFish Cuban smash or smoosh technique. Only lasted about 40 minutes. Found it quite strong for a PC. 28
Popular Post Boxer31 Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 16, 2021 Dip 2 tues morn and PDS4 this morning before the 110 degree heat rolled in. Week of vac visiting our son in AZ. Of course they get oppressive heat week we’re here. I like warm weather but 115-117 is hot, at least it’s a dry heat - lol 32

Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted June 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2021 ROTT MAR MAR 20 Sig II. The first ROTT cigar I’ve smoked in awhile! Lots of lemon grass and some creaminess. Very smooth through the retro. The box definitely arrived wet so I’ll let these sit for another 60 days. One thing I've found with Sig II's is they have incredible smoking time for PC's. This one lasted almost 90 minutes. 32

Popular Post ReturnFreeRisk Posted June 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2021 My favorite Davidoff regular production; for me their most complex too. In CC terms flavors hit my palette as a bold HU2/light P2 hybrid. Now that things are largely back to normal me and a couple buddies finally lined up our first lounge night in over a year.
