Vigia ARS FEB 19 Was really underwhelmed by the vigias I had. They were good, but not good enough for the price. Beautiful cigar...golden hour sunlight made it look a bit more rosado than it really was but the first half...so pleasant. One of those cigars I wonder how the flavors are packed in there! Rose water, toasted tobacco and hints of cherry. Just so encouraging! Slightly more challenging on the draw but hey, it was ROTT. Second half, all the reasons we don’t/shouldnt or... are encouraged not to expect much from cigars right off the truck. In part I went for it after seeing a 0, 30, 60 day experiment Prez did last year on these and the Monte 2. One thing to read it...I had to live it! No regrets though. It’s been years since I had an RJ Churchill and this just reminded me what I have to look forward to down the road. The couple of RyJ Churchills tubos I have tried really didn't live up to the hype or price for me. They were good, but nothing that special. Lots of other RyJ's out there that I enjoy more and are cheaper On 6/2/2021 at 12:04 PM, SigmundChurchill said: There's not a whole lot to say. I really like the taste of the Media Lunas. I have no control over what I like. If I did, Vegueros would be my favorite cigar. Just got my first Media Luna in a private sale to finally try out since I can't find them as singles anywhere. Will be smoking it next month finally. Very excited to try it as I love all the Trinidads I have had except for the vigia On 6/2/2021 at 12:18 PM, RedLantern said: First ever Lusi, HQ, courtesy of our host! BUP MAR 19 Ignition: cedar spill cut: deep v drink: coke-classic Smoking time: 2h20 We’re in for a warm evening here and usually I don’t have time for a long smoke after bedtime before it gets chilly! I must smoke really fast, even when I pay attention and slow myself down, as I have never had anything last more than a little over an hour. I envy you guys who get 2 hours or more from your smokes. Guess I need to work on slowing my pace down even more On 6/2/2021 at 1:20 PM, Hotboxx said: Time to see what these (H.Upmann No.2s) are all about .... well, a half inch in I can say with certainty these are a proper gentleman’s cigar . Obviously in the wrong hands. Which vitola is it? But most corona sized sticks can get me beyond an hour with ease. Heck I even think the PLPC I had this morning took me just over an hour to finish. This may even be a topic for another post, but I bet there are similar ones already posted I guess the bottom line is if they taste good at the pace you smoke, why worry? Sure, getting more pleasure out of the money spent is better 8 hours ago, smbauerllc said: Which vitola is it? Doesn't overwhelm the palate that way.Everything still only lasts about an hour still though PC's now last me about 45 minutes and everything larger is about an hour Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I’ve gone through several boxes and have yet to have one that’s not great. At first the size wasn’t my favorite, but it actually grew on me as well. 1

That’s almost Fundadores or Esmeralda pricing, which I would take any day over the Vigia. The Vigias were going on sale quite a bit over the past couple years and I was stocking up, don’t think I would choose it for $21 a stick though. 1

Based on what I have read about the fundadores and esmeraldas, I would be willing to try and track down some singles to smoke too for that price Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

smbauerllc Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 This was my exact RASS experience a little over a week ago. Downright depressing...So far I have had no problems with the RASS I have had.I like a pretty open draw, so I hate it when they are rolled to tight as that's not something I can fix with my Modus tool. Being too tight just really ruins a good cigar experience for me.Burn issues I can typically live with unless its really bad. I do hate it when the burn won't correct with my lighter and stays bad after attempting to correct it Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Popular Post inter4alia Posted June 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2021 ARS Feb 19. Tried one from this box a year ago and thought it really needed more rest. This one was significantly better. These are so damn good when they are on. 29
Popular Post sonarman81 Posted June 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2021 PSD4 POL NOV 10 One of the first boxes I bought. Garage sale earlier today. Getting rid of stuff in preps for the move back down south. Started with a VR Unico, tossed. Had a firm draw, but was rolled improperly (I’m assuming) as there was no smoke pulling through it. Anyways Grand Edmundo UNK 2010 29

Popular Post Glass Half Full Posted June 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2021 Monte DE ...Good evening to all (Sunday here)... After the Monte Double Edmundo (lit pre 24:24) and after losing two out of three 24:24 requests (...but even one is a gift) ...decided to have a little something to follow the bigger one. Like many secretos, the Quai d'Orsay S(2016) is "bigger" than it's size would suggest. Big things can come in small packages. (Life lesson I guess ) ...And the retro on the Secreto is much more impactful than the DE (at least in my experience this evening ...of course, it could be the 2nd "Scotch" but I don't think so. This Secreto is great!) 25
