I was underwhelmed by the RyJ Churchills I tried. They were just ok, and not worth the price to me.

I'm in the minority though as most people love them

Bolivar Petite Corona LRE ABR 2009

Another winner from a great box.  I find most of the earthiness is gone and leather and fruity sweetness to be the main players with a bit of cocoa and wood, blended just beautifully. Such an enjoyable smoke this morning on the patio with Colombian Huila Region Coffee and cream.

So... smoked this over an hour and a half w a glass of CasAmigos reposado, little grand marnier , and club soda. I’m not the best with flavor descriptions but I feel like I do a good job of matching tastes up. The vanilla in the tequila and citrus from the GM made for a great pairing.

2018 Petit Robusto... concentrated Hoyo flavours, very nice for a quick evening smoke... hit the spot but maybe a notch down from the Epi2. I'm trying to decide between this and the de Depute for a quick HdM flavour fix.

It certainly wasn't in tip top form by the end of the evening haha.  Not fully blown, but pretty much there.

Anybody smoking these lately? Had a few myself and I am enjoying them quite a bit. Coffee, some baking spice and a little pepper in there. What I like most is I don’t have to think about it too much.

It’s got the SP DNA, but pretty average smoking experience for me. This was my first from a new box and I am putting them down for a year or two after this take. Regular production Beli I had a couple weeks back smoking better.
