Stanislaw Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I have had good luck with 98 and 01 compared to 99and 00. Universally, a great year for cigars IMO, especially Trini Fundys. NOT TO DERAIL THE THREAD (sorry guys) but this is great to hear guys, considering i bought 5 boxes and after reading things online I was a bit nervous....
Strada Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 This the same box that Simon and I traded part from you a while back? Haven't smoked any of them yet. Have they been plugged? I smoked all of mine and they have been great
Hunger Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Spot on !LOL! These Regios looked like they were hit with the ugly stick. We did a review of a visually beautiful Regio back in May which was very very tasty. Yesterdays were not as good ...but not far short. I have received my box of Regios a month a go. Before this box I was not really a fan of SLR. But this box is great. I wonder what will happen when they a age a bit.
srsMichael Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Have yet to be disappointed by a Boli RE
LLC Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 ^ Not sure why the one picture showed up twice. Sorry about that.
Paul3 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Trinidad Colonial from an unknown box code. Unfortunately this one is very uneventful. Off to the humi to find a follow up.
pjansen Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Partagas Culebras from TEB NOV 08. Amazing constuction and flavor. Glad I got a box of these.
Othello Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 A very nice 01 PLPC with my late morning coffee
Ophidion Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 50 degrees outside. Decided to break open a box of 02 mdo 1
LexG Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Upmann Noellas paired with some wine I picked up in France, awesome smoke!
LGC Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 It's always dark when you smoke. Vampire? Low light setting + flash = dark background and high contrast.
Ophidion Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I like my answer better You can get a similar effect with a bright light source on the cigar even in a somewhat bright area. I love tricking cameras.
