They seem more popular than any others. I'm curious why... Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk I don't have an exact answer for that, but I'd venture to say its because PCC commissions a higher volume of sticks for production under the Asia Pacific region than other distributors worldwide do. Spain has a very high volume as well. A lot of the time, the more cigars produced, the more inexpensive the boxes are for purchase and the less flavorful/desirable they are. This is my personal opinion and I know others share the same sentiment. However, people do seem to have negative things to say about these RG88's but I've really enjoyed the box I have so far. I'm sure lots of others on the forum would have a far better explanation of your question however. 1

Yeah, I did assume that the Asian market gets a much higher number of ER's than other regions and also noticed Spain gets a lot too Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Wasn't able to get my hands on any. Happy birthday! Great smoke to enjoy for the occasion! It was a good cigar but I think most of AF higher end stuff is good. I think if I see it again I would buy one or 2 singles. I wouldn’t chase a box at the prices B&M are selling singles for. And I am totally with you on the Mil Dais great stick. 1
Popular Post NicPac Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 CoLa and the PGA. I never thought we’d see Phil the leader after 54 again in a major. Could be an exciting day. 31 1

Haven't been able to find them anywhere. Got a pack of Kings from my local B&M, but don't think they compare. I enjoy the RSG's a lot, so figured these would be good for a different size. Also, I've become a big Crowned Heads fan lately. 1 hour ago, NicPac said: CoLa and the PGA. I never thought we’d see Phil the leader after 54 again in a major. Could be an exciting day. Looking good, Nico! Great way to celebrate the final round. Fingers crossed Phil can pull it off (IMO).. Just saw him dunk that sand shot on 5!!! 3
Popular Post FlyingGlass Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 First Montecristo Especiales No. 2 for me. Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sweet and dark cocoa flavors with a bit of cream and occasional baking spice. Wonderful chocolatey, nutty aroma and a great draw paired with morning coffee, beautiful weather and good 2 hour Sunday morning conversation with my wife on the patio. Sorry for the extreme focus pic. Finished working the garden this morning and nobody wants to see my hands/nails at the moment. 29

Popular Post Lycosa Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 PLPC (RAT - FEB 20). Checking how these are progressing, not "ready" yet (no surprise). But not bad! Still have a ton of them left (47/50). 31
Popular Post ZigZauer Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 Right after dinner I smoked a 2010 Monte Open Junior. Pretty straightforward and good smoke. Then at night a Davidoff Selecccion 702 from 2009. To be honest I reason I still have some of these around was they were not that great when fresh. Over a decade turned the cigar from average to wonderful. All kinds of sweetness almost overwhelmed me.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 27
havanaclub Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Nice, happy birthday! Actually have never had a lanceros in any marca, even nc's, but do really enjoy its little brother, the Exquisitos and really enjoy them. No draw issues with any of them yet, which is why I typically shy away from anything under 40rg. Have had too many draw issues, and they are too skinny for my draw tool. It tends to crack the wrapper or punch out the side by not going in perfectly straight. Also don't typically like anything under 5in either (which I know doesn't apply here, just a statement), but there are a few exceptions Also have never found the COLA available in singles anywhere, so would have to scrounge up a few in a private sale, which is a little different still. Would like to give one a try someday, as they seem quite popular and well regarded. Will try again to find some in a private sale next month Had some nice age on it too, which most think is pretty much a necessity for Cohibas in particular. havanaclub How do they compare to the Exquisitos? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk Can’t say as I have never had an exquisitos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 This is a cigar that came in last year that was a total loss, destroyed. Glued it back together and let it lay about 6 months. I can't believe this thing is actually burning , much less superbly. 26

Popular Post inter4alia Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 SOM Ene 17 Petit corona. These always seem to punch above their weight class. 28
Popular Post HDGSN Posted May 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 23, 2021 Got a few more I’ll follow up with, but this has been the cigar of the year. Bar. None. 98/100. 10 mile hike in the Western NC mountains, back at the cabin 3,500 feet up, perfect 72* weather, delicious IPAs brewed at 4,000 feet elevation, Phil Mickelson winning the PGA Championship, Belted Kingfishers catching minnows in the mountain creek below, and a dog tired Beauceron all to go with H. Upmann Sir Winston TRU JUL 18. Sweet spiced doughnut bread batter, RC Cola, chocolate Moonpie, candied almonds. Class for days. 36
Popular Post Homebrew Posted May 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2021 Today I am having a 2015 Sir Winston. Picked them up, in 2015, as an annual birthday smoke. This year, I had to work, on my birthday, so I am enjoying it now. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew) 35

Popular Post BigGuns Posted May 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2021 Nice chill Sunday before getting back after it tomorrow. It was great to watch Phil’s win today, the Dodgers take care of business in SF, and…no, there wasn’t any other LA sport of interest today. Enjoying a beautiful SoCal afternoon…cheers, FOH!! 30
Popular Post LLC Posted May 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2021 After the La Isla RE Cuba yesterday I decided to have the ERDM Infantes today. LAR SEP 13. Outstanding. 30
Popular Post NW_Oregon Posted May 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2021 2019 RASS, nice and oily. Lots of stewed fruit and baking spices, still got quite the punch, loving everything from 2019/2020 hoping 2021 boxes hold up as well. 29
