BRE-NOV-19 Connie 1.  Draw was pretty damn bad but the flavors were good.  Getting down to the last few in the box and I think they're all going to be this way. 

MAR-JUL-20 E2.  I could smoke these Laguito E2's everyday.  Perfection IMO.  Delicious. A+ construction. Nubbed the bioottchh.

RSE SEP 01 Hoyo du Dauphin.
Edit: The du Dauphin was wonderful, started out cream and wood, then spice and baking spice for the rest of the first third, vanilla and coffee on the second third, watermelon and melon on the final third. Just over 75 minutes to a nub. Retrohaled on practically every puff. I was really happy as the last one suffered wrapper damage and was tight to boot and I only got 40 minutes out of it.

For the price I prefer the no.2's or Especial better personally.
I like to slightly larger size, and they are a few bucks cheaper

The E2 is probably my favorite partagas, but for some reason I rarely buy them.
I just kinda forget about them at order time.
Definitely need to rectify that as I only have 1 left

For the price I really enjoy the JLP Cazadores.
Definitely won't wow you, and very one dimensional, but I think they are a tasty smoke and extremely cheap.

Unfortunately long discontinued, I think since 2002.

The du depute, du maire, de San Juan and de Rio Seco are the four remaining cigars in that line.

Aside from the Serie No. 1, the E2 is by far my favorite partagas stick.  I enjoy Lusis as well, but these take the cake for me.  D4 is one that I've never been completely sold on.  Had a good one a couple weeks back, but its not one of my favorite sticks.

RG Perlas. This one was a show pony. A perfect wrapper color but Just wouldn’t burn right. The surrogate is running though. A beautiful morning

I can usually get my wife to join me if I pull out something fancy (cigars included). I smoked one of these early on when I got into cigars but I decided to give it another try since I’ve tried a lot more and gotten into Habanos. This is definitely a great cigar by NC standards, and I’d say a mid-tier by Cuban standards. I think the flavor profile is somewhere between a Fonseca and El Ray del Mundo. Very light and creamy with hints of citrus.

Quintero Favoritos from November 2013. Excellent construction & burn, and good draw. Was medium bodied, with leather, nuts, and base tobacco flavors. Not complex or refined for a 7.5 yr old cigar, but not constructed or engineered to be by the master blender. Solid hour long smoke to pass the time, but not be totally focused on the nuances of an aged cigar.
