mk05 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 08 Hup conn 1 (yuck). Hope the other 4 I have are better. WHAT?
Ophidion Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 WHAT? My ashtray had about 4 inches of ice/snow in it from the recent storm. Also, the cigar didn't get palatable till the second third at which point it was ok.
maverickdrinker Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Starting the day with a 2010 BHK 52....
Lotusguy Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 On my way to freezing Chi-Town, a very nice Sancho Panza Non Plus. Perfect for the morning!
Strada Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Qd'O Panatela from 05 from our favorite MP Keith
Lotusguy Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Found a place with outdoor heaters and enjoying a really nice HdM Du Dauphin BD1999. Wonderful in construction and aroma!
ckearns Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Qd'O Panatela from 05 from our favorite MP Keith MP? Is that Mucho Petito Keith? And how would you know?
Habanos2000 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Magnum 50 on the drive from Manhattan to Long Island. Great cigar but not long enough for the 2 hour drive in rush hour traffic.
Strada Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 [/size] MP? Is that Mucho Petito Keith? And how would you know? I am ashamed of that comment Conor....(turns around)
Stanislaw Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Just got home from a long day of work, trains weren't running at Times Square so I fired up the partagas Serie D no4 from a box dated September 1998 code BM NOSU..... After the initial punch in the face of spice at 42nd street the cigar stopped me in my tracks a number of times on the slow leisurely stroll uptown.... Was worried these would be duds but I've been very fortunate with all my 1998 acquisitions so far...
NMJoe Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Starting the day with a 2010 BHK 52.... Yummy!
pjansen Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 HdM Epi 1 from Jun 12. Fresh, vibrant flavors. Has great potential.

Lotusguy Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Very tasty HdM Regalos LE 2007. Reasonably priced and no generic chocolate LE taste, compared to most more recent LEs Eat that, 1966 and 520
mk05 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Heresy Claus. My ashtray had about 4 inches of ice/snow in it from the recent storm. Also, the cigar didn't get palatable till the second third at which point it was ok. I bet your cigar was very cold. I like my cigars warm.

ckearns Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I am ashamed of that comment Conor....(turns around) Hey now, that's my move! You know I coined it in Havana. And sorry for making you blush. See you on the 20th my friend.
Ophidion Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Heresy Claus. I bet your cigar was very cold. I like my cigars warm. It was in my hand the whole time. The pi. Is after I decided enough was enough. I have a few more from the same box so ill try again when conditions are a little more favorable.
canadianbeaver Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 This Punch Churchill seems ok so far... *** UPDATE***.. No go. Pitched 1/3 in and went for a VR Famosos. Looks like I am ditching half a box of these Punch Churchills. Such a shame.
Dbone Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Very tasty HdM Regalos LE 2007. Reasonably priced and no generic chocolate LE taste, compared to most more recent LEs Eat that, 1966 and 520 I second that. THe HdM Regalos doesn't smoke like other LE. It's an outstanding cigar, full of leather kick and pepper spice. I ordered a second box about 6 months ago.
