Popular Post smbauerllc
Montecristo Open Master Excellent yet again. Very enjoyable smokes. This one had a slightly crooked burn, but otherwise excellent in every regard just like the others I have had. Popular Post SigmundChurchill
My first non-Cuban in a long time. A co-worker gave me this cigar last week. It is some sort of Davidoff Salomones, that is apparently pretty expensive. He asked me how I liked it, so I felt bad telling him I haven't smoked it yet, so here I am smoking it today. The construction is perfect, the draw is perfect, and the wrapper is attractive. It tastes like a really good non-Cuban cigar, which is somewhere in between a bad Cuban cigar and a mediocre Cuban cigar. I naturally retrohale on every puff, but like most non-Cuban cigars, this one burns my nose a little on the retrohale, so I am trying not to. I guess if Cuban cigars were to disappear off the face of the earth, this would do. I'm smoking it with a quadruple cappuccino, made with some excellent home roasted coffee that @Gamehawker sent me. Thanks for the great coffee Tim! 32 2

On a scale of only non-Cubans, it is probably around a 94. But on a scale where Cubans are included, it's more like an 81. (edit) I just went to the review. The flavor profile was actually pretty spot on. He even said it is bitter if smoked fast, but much better when smoked slow, which is exactly what I was thinking. But smoking this cigar slow is tough because of the large ring gauge and the fact that it will take 4 hours to finish at the rate I am smoking it.

Popular Post StogieSteve23
Was away working one of our tournaments for a few weeks. I smoke mostly NC's when I'm on course. Here is a little photo dump of the best sticks from the trip. First Angel's Share with some Basil. Absolutely delicious. Stopped at Grand Cathedral Cigars in Ybor City on my way over to Tampa. Coolest shop I've been to outside of ones in Havana. Do yourself a favor and stop here if you're ever in the area. BRE-NOV-18. This box is excellent. 2016 D4 Room 101 - Miami Snow. Excellent mild body full flavor stick. LGR-OCT-17 PLMC Nat Timeless TAA PDR gifted by a co-worker. Surprisingly good. Tat Seleccion de Cazador - Especiales 2014 La Riqueza - No. 1. Phenomenal. 2018 Non-Plus First try with a God of Fire. Very good but not box worthy for the price IMO. Added a day on the backend heading home to stop in Ybor and smoke with the boys. Hit up Grand Cathedral again. As we sat there smoking, everyone who walked in I could hear say "this place is the coolest cigar bar I've ever been to". Enjoyed an Opus - Oro Oscuro. Real janked up PSdP that still tasted delicious. Tat Negociant - Monopole No. 3. Flawless construction but no real flavor for me. LTO-MAY-17 Siglo III. Nearly fireproof. Flavors were ok but too many relights made me annoyed. 2018 Miguelito Siglo VI custom from @Bartolomeo. These are really coming into their own. Room 101 Ichiban Habano. Snagged a bundle on the chhhheeeaaapp so figured what the hell. They're excellent everyday cigars and perfect for the golf course. du Prince.
