LGC Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 01 QdO Panetelas are to die for! Interesting band BTW, do you happen to have the box codes for Quai d'Orsay Panetelas from 2008? Thank you in advance! Smoked an amazing Por Larrañaga Legendarios yesterday Checked. They are TEB 07 actually. Had the first specimen from a 2007 box of El Principes... solid performer... perfect age.
MC4 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 needed a little something, something to help recover from all the snow shovelling.... How was it? was it a 100 point cigar as all the reviews say?

headstand Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 RA Allones Extra Everything is wonderfully dark with this cigar. Dark brown wrapper (photo doesn't pick that up), and dark flavors. Think black coffee, forest floor dirt, the darkest chocolate you can find, and hints of nutmeg. Dark but not brooding like a good Boli BBF. This still manages to be fresh on the palate through the first 2/3. Generous smoke and perfect burn/draw. Keep an ashtray nearby as this one drops ash with every 1/2 inch. Last 1/3 was a bit tannic - needs a bit more age? A very easy 91 now with the prospect of more glory to come.

Ophidion Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 After shoveling five times yesterday the sun was out today so I enjoyed an outstanding 2008 RA Grandes. I want one of those ashtrays something fierce.
Orion21 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 An exceptionally good illusione Mk that I have had for 3-4 years. Busted up a bit, but its smoking well with sweet barnyard and cedar. Pretty good PC while waiting for the rain. Oh yeah, and say hi to Bailey. He really like the smell of this one.
