marty922 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 RyJ Short Churchill from 08 travel humidor. Lovely smoke. Head and shoulders above the Churchill I had on Sunday.
Lotusguy Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 The RA Mille Fleurs from the box pass. It tasted almost exactly like my RA Belvederes from the same year and factory - just a little bigger.
LGC Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 99 or 2000 Bolivar Belvedere with generic flavors and hardly any complexity.
Othello Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Yesterday afternoon, I got warmed up with a 12 partagas Super, then for the game I had an 11 VR Unicos Then for the finish, an 05 Mag 46 Tonight after work, a 10 Hoyo Double Corona
Orion21 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 A very good NC. Its like an EL Cuban. Smooth chocolate cream. But unlike Cubans the gritty charcoal after taste at the back of my throat almost ruins it. Fuente is still the only NC that doesn't do that to me.
Ophidion Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 SUA SEP 00 Hdm DD. Took a risk, paid off. Sweet honey with mild wood notes. Fantastic.
maverickdrinker Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 First cigar in almost a week. 05 Trinidad Fundadore from a 50 cab.
perfectform Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 A little infanticide tonight in the jacuzzi. A 2012 BRC that had some of the freshest most vibrantly delicious boli flavors I've experienced in such a young cigar in quite some time. Just a firecracker of a cigar. One of the best there is. This is why I smoke cigars. Cheers!
blotto649 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Last night in the DR. Saying goodbye with a '10 Trini Rob T. Can't get over the creaminess of these...
pjansen Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 My first JLPC from JUL 11. Great cigar, just pure toasted cuban tobacco and sweetness.
NMJoe Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 PLPC from September '11 cab. Some hints of honey and spice, with a bit of a punch. Can use some more nap time (if I can keep my paws off).
Orion21 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 '98 Boli Inmensas with lunch. Tight draw. 15 minutes in the fridge and it opened up quite nicely. Thanks Rob!
kevinfj Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 H. Upmann #2 with an aweful wrapper. Actually not that bad.
LGC Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 2001 QdO Panatela. I hope my 2008 boxes turn out as good as these.
BonVivant Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 2001 QdO Panatela. I hope my 2008 boxes turn out as good as these. 01 QdO Panetelas are to die for! Interesting band BTW, do you happen to have the box codes for Quai d'Orsay Panetelas from 2008? Thank you in advance! Smoked an amazing Por Larrañaga Legendarios yesterday
canadianbeaver Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Just arrived up north for a sleepover and smoked a SCDH Oficios Mmmmmmmmm
headstand Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 SCDH La Punta SEP 2011 from an HQ box. Still very young to my taste.
