I would agree. The 4-5 Dantes I have had seemed to be on the “darker” side compared to the Leyenda. I would also agree on the spice/pepper. This is why I figured they needed some time to smooth out. Might try one tonight to check in.

Off to a great start!! SUM OCT 16
I recall these early being on the slightly harsh side. A lot of pepper and even recall hearing reviews about it tasting like a Nicaragua cigar. I can see some resemblance, but this has smoothed out.medium-full with dark chocolate and slight roasted nuts with a very nice creamy texture. Very nice.

Start of the Easter Weekend. Yesterday's smoke, Sancho Panza Gran Quixote. A good long and leisurely smoke

Decided to abandon the internet last night and grabbed my first HdM EE , and went to visit my cousin in his shop last night. Extremely overfilled and plugged.😔 Burn was very uniform but zero smoke output. Left my draw tool at home, got tired of pulling my brains out and rectified the problem with a 1/8 drill bit in the dewalt cordless drill. There's more than one way to skin a cat.lol

It had a very good flavor, just couldn't get any smoke out of it. Burned for 2 hours, never had to relight or touch up the burn. Just highly disappointed with the draw. I knew I was in trouble before I  even lit it by how tight the roll was.

Just recently discovered these as I just found them available as singles a few weeks ago.
Great taste, and perfect draw, burn and construction on all of them so far.
Will definitely be keeping a few on hand
In fact, already had a couple in my stash, but bought 4 more at a great price from someone on another forum

RyJ is sweet rosewater from the 1st puff, but that may be the cherry wood smoke around me as well. No worries, it's 100% fabulous, chocolate cherry creme an inch in and I'm in for a 2424 box of these...

Finally! Tried to smoke this during 0f Snovid weather, but I wasn't tough enough for more than 10m outside. Yes, I immediately dropped it in the wind. I'm enjoying this while rolls proof, ham heats and green bean / mushroom medley come together.

VR RE: not sure why ppl say cinnamon, I just don't get that. Oh, I do after an early ashfall. Great cigar, unfortunately at the top of my $ two years ago, I hate to see what a BR box would close at. 10/11, would pick a fight Fight Club style for a box at the right price.
