Popular Post Bigfatpuff
Ramon Allones SILVER JUBILEE ER ASIA PACÍFICO 2017 I think this cigar has great potential. First half was perfect, honey sweet, a bit black pepper and cedar. Second half, heavier pepper taste and indeed throat harshness. It may need more time to settle. Well, this tiny cigar is beyond my expectations. A decent one to enjoy. A very well balanced cigar, nothing to complain at all. Nice!
Popular Post Chucko8
A PLPC a few days back TOS ABR 17. This cab has started to turn the corner. Had found them to be pretty rough last try 8 months back. Happy to obtain some of the sweeter notes coming through now.

The one I had was sweet and lots of chocolate and earthy notes, but I did not get any harshness. there was some astringency and greenness that indicated to me that it would benefit from age

Just pure Hoyo sweet cream and barnyard. I know I promised @rcarlson a mag 46, but I couldn't resist the call of the Hoyo last night. 46 is in the dry box for tonight though. Lol. I was planning a Mag 46 tonight. But since you did the switcheroo, I'll go with with a '19 SJ tonight to keep things metaphysically balanced. 1

But since you did the switcheroo, I'll go with with a '19 SJ tonight to keep things metaphysically balanced. Have only had a few, but loved the San Juans. Have more ready to go with my order tomorrow. Hopefully these are just as good. A little pricey, but are big smokes and had great taste, draw, burn and construction. Don't know the box dates on the ones I had, but very likely 2019 at the oldest, and very probably 2020.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Had found them to be pretty rough last try 8 months back. Happy to obtain some of the sweeter notes coming through now.I had a TOS FEB 16 HQ earlier today and for me also the first one from that cab in a while. I also found some good caramel sweetness and much less “mongrel”. I think more time will continue to improve them some more. 5
