Popular Post havanaclub Posted March 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2021 A nice fresh vibrant RASS out of a HQ 50 cab. REG JUL 19 It’s been a while since I had one of these. Figured I would pull out something special to celebrate my folks selling their house. They did extremely well with this insane market in Ontario. 280k over ask a lot of memories growing up in that place, but super happy for them. SGA OCT 16 OR lanceros QD 50 TOU DIC 17 31

The ‘20 Famosos I have are already fantastic...the Unicos I’ve had from this 6 pack are way off from the Famosos. I suspect the Unicos needed another year or two of rest, but I don’t think I’ll go down chasing a box. I've had the Unicos young and an aged box of Maestros and neither delivered a thing for me. Maybe I'll try a 6er of the Famosos before I put all of VR on the blood oath list. Thanks 1

I forgot about them for 2 years and now they are as good as the Famosos (one of my favorites). I usually find a bad cigar is a bad cigar and time won't change this sad fact. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the Unicos. 1 1

I just have very little patience right now with how good recent production has been smoking! 1

I managed to trade a few singles and gifted a few as well. I have been thinking of starting to sell on Bond Roberts as i have a few REs that I don't like and also want to get rid of some big RG cigars. Gojira, if you’re interested in trading/selling a few, shoot a PM my way. I’ve heard this same comment on the smokes and am interested to see what’s-what. Glutton for punishment I guess, haha. Also great handle Finishing up another Illusione Epernay 15, they always deliver! This incoming Vigilant Cabinet will need a couple boxes for sure. Trusty ol’ Purple Kush always delivers too....every time. 17

Popular Post RedLantern Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 23, 2021 HDM coronation tubo Just came in today , smoking excellent for a rott c&c medium, great twang, lots of smoke! Putting to shame many a cigar at 2-3x the cost. 21
Popular Post mprach024 Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 23, 2021 BBF. A no-fuss good cigar. Not getting that cream in this box that I love, but a nice touch of mongrel, loads of coffee, and a rawhide twinge at the end on my teeth. This gets a 59 in my 68 point rating system. For the “Coffee and a Smoke” appointment I had on my calendar. I met with this handsome devil. Spectacular smoke, got a little sloppy at the very end, but still I couldn’t have asked any more from it. 22 5

My lady and I settled on the 69 point system. Really seems to work both ways equally. 1 8

Popular Post Bigfatpuff Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 23, 2021 Ramon Allones SILVER JUBILEE ER ASIA PACÍFICO 2017 I think this cigar has great potential. First half was perfect, honey sweet, a bit black pepper and cedar. Second half, heavier pepper taste and indeed throat harshness. It may need more time to settle. Well, this tiny cigar is beyond my expectations. A decent one to enjoy. A very well balanced cigar, nothing to complain at all. Nice! 30
Popular Post Chucko8 Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 23, 2021 A PLPC a few days back TOS ABR 17. This cab has started to turn the corner. Had found them to be pretty rough last try 8 months back. Happy to obtain some of the sweeter notes coming through now. 27

The one I had was sweet and lots of chocolate and earthy notes, but I did not get any harshness. there was some astringency and greenness that indicated to me that it would benefit from age 2
