Despite the age difference and the much darker wrapper on the 2008, they tasted very similar. Clearly recognizable Monte profile. The 08 had a bit of a tight draw but it was manageable. It was a little creamier than the 12. I know why I like these so much

Not looking at the price tag I have to admit: I do like them. To finish off the afternoon I pulled out a HdM Epicure No.2. That's what I call a relaxed Sunday!
