Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted March 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2021 Tasty Monte 4 at the home office. Funny story...last Friday I gave away a few Monte 4’s and a Connie 1 to a buddy who’s boss loves cigars. I get a text yesterday from him that the boss thinks the cigars are fake because they have tight draws. I had to tell him that’s one of the tell tale signs they’re real 😂😂😂 26 3
Popular Post BigGuns Posted March 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 10, 2021 Inspired by some of the posts that I read here earlier, Coloniales to wrap up the work day. Trying to take advantage of the beautiful SoCal weather before the torrential downpour of +/- 1/3 inch slams into us for about 10 minutes at some point between Wednesday and Friday...cheers, FOH!!! 26 1

(other than the obvious length difference) I don't know about the blend differences but the unvarnished is the original pre 1960s vitola discontinued in 2002. So .. between the 70s and 2002, you would see 2 different "Partagas 8-9-8"s, in different sizes? How peculiar ..

Yes and the main way to differentiate (except obviously for the size) was the color or varnish of the box. Edit: Interestingly enough there was the same situation with Ramon Allones 8-9-8: https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand/ramon-allones#8-9-8-cabinet-selection-2 https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand/ramon-allones#8-9-8-cabinet-selection-1 Except the unvarnished was a Corona, and it was discontinued in the 70s. So they probably didn't coexist together for a long time like the Partagas. 1 1

I wish my box of these would finally arrive here someday. 🥺🙁 I guess I will have to open a box from my still sealed boxes from 2014, 2017 or 2018 until they get here. 1 1

If I can keep my hands off them. I would hunt GEM 20 boxes. Around those months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
