Will definitely benefit from some time down. I’ve been dying to get my hands on a Maduro No.2 Looks very similar in shape and size to the Monte petit No.2. How would you say it compares to the No.1 or the No.3?

Both REALLY start to improve after they get about a year and a half on em. I just finished some '16s that were pretty great for just over $100 usd. Thanks for the tip. These were ARS JUL 18. Maybe I'll have a PCE next. My box there is SOR DIC 19 ? (so not a year and a half yet though)

Popular Post Bigfatpuff Posted February 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 13, 2021 H. Upmann Replica Antique Humidor Supremas No.2It was the last cigar I bought from my friend. The cigar was not looking good from outside, but perfect draw.I enjoyed this one in this very peaceful sunny afternoon. Popular Post Kongelunden Posted February 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 13, 2021 My first ever Diplomatico, box code unknown as it came from a FOH prize sampler ? Great construction, and enjoyable experience with a bit of creamy taste, tobacco and a slight hints of coffee. Unfortunately not much cocoa in this one, however, this may be due the colder temperatures here in Copenhagen. The cigar vent straight from 21C degrees in the humidor to -5C outside ? Would probably list the taste profile of this specimen a bit closer to the Upmann #2 rather than the Monte #2. BRC this afternoon (EPT MAR 16). A good old trusted friend ? Delightful; earthy, malty, hints of cocoa, coffee and tobacco. I'm happy to have stocked up a bit on these, and hope the '19 and '20 awaiting arrival from our host will be similar to this. 29

I don't get much cocoa in my Diplo 2s either, no matter the temperature. They're more like a marriage of Partagas P2 and HU No2. On 2/13/2021 at 2:13 PM, SigmundChurchill said: How are those? Popular Post lovethehaze Posted February 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 13, 2021 14 HUPC became very floral. Very nice 19 BPC needs more time this started very full for a Hdm but smoothed out nicely and a couple odds and ends 31

Interesting flavor profile. I was getting gingerbread and honey. EL's are so hit-and-miss with me. Actually, mostly "miss", so I usually don't buy them unless I have tried a stick first. But I like QdO, so I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. 3 1

Popular Post Chibearsv Posted February 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2021 My 3rd PLPC from 50 cab I bought at the beginning of 2019. Last one was a year ago and was forgettable. This one is starting to show me why they get so much love. Caramel sweetness and strong coffee. A bit astringent still so will try number 4 next year. Looking forward to it. Enjoying Siglo VI now 29
B44 Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 5 hours ago, Heels82 said: @B44, the Maduro No.2 is definitely close in size to the Petite No.2 but just a tad bit thicker. This is my first PM No.2 so my experience with these is limited to just this one. I think the Maduro No.2 just starts with a blast of chocolate and peppered sweetness that endures the whole smoke. It never tasted young even with a little over half a year of age nor did it get bitter on the finish. The Maduro No.1 to me just isn't as intense from the get go and builds to those notes mentioned above. With the No.1 I can always count on a 1.5hr smoke time and the milk chocolate sweetness I associate with it. I have yet to try the No.3 as well so can't compare but hear it's the favorite out of the three to some people. What did you think of the No.1 and No.3 if you've tried both? Good luck in your search for the No.2 and don't second guess yourself as I've done in the past, add those suckers to your cart immediately when given the chance! Now that’s what I call a testimonial. Thanks brother. Love the maduro 1’s. Picked up a 6er back in Sept and they were gone fast. Subsequently I have a box in transit that I can’t wait to get my hands on and see how they do with the hands of time. No such luck yet for the 2/3. But I’ll keep my eyes peeled on the 24:24. No flinching now lol 1
Popular Post BigGuns Posted February 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2021 Siglo II for a nice afternoon smoke after a busy Saturday. Draw is a little tighter than I would like, but it’s still producing a decent amount of solid smoke. Cheers, FOH!! Now unwinding with one of the go-tos. Enjoying a nice chill SoCal evening by a fire with the fam. Cheers, FOH!! 27
