Wrapped up a cracking Sunday afternoon with an SLR Herfing. From this I obtained cedar, leather, salt, cocoa, cream with a citrus twang, some toasted nut and dark coffee at the end.

A few from yesterday; Arturo Fuente R44 and a repeat of my last posting except this is a JL1 (UTL MAY-19) with an Old Fashioned.  The JL1 was exceptional yet, the JL2 was a better pairing with the Old fashioned.

I’m loving these right now. This 2020 was far better than the 2015’s I have.  Construction on all of these have been perfect too. If you havnt bought any of the 2020 Monte 2’s yet, I highly suggest you do! 
I’d give this a 92 or an A- on the FOH (not the CA) scale! 

One of my first cuban box purchases is a MEG SEP 15 monte 2. Bland and semi plugged. I almost got turned away from Monte 2 until the RAT 2020s came out.

Decided to 'celebrate' the purchase of a box of PSP/HQ BBF from yesterdays 24:24 with a BBF ? This from a dress box (ULA DIC 14). Great cigar and construction, with sweet taste of earthy, tobacco, cedar, coffee notes. Can't wait to try the SLB version....
