My first Culebra. Pretty good so far. How do you review them without sounding like a Horse race commentator ? In the first turn it’s got slight pepper, catching up on the 2nd turn it’s sweet nut, heading into the last turn it’s bell pepper. Crazy shape for the win.

tastes exactly like a Connie 1 should! The construction is poor which is effecting the flavor but still perfect for watching the Natty. Never thought I’d say this but I’m rooting for tOSU!

D4 BUP ABR 19 Wind tunnel, but still a nice smoke.

RASCC, box code unknown. Another meh example for me.

And a BRC MSU ABR 19 this afternoon, from a PSP 1/4 box. Fan-forking-tastic in the second half, lots of malt and floral notes, unexpectedly good.

Bolivar Royal Corona PUS MAY 2019

Young box, but have had several excellent examples from it. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Lacked flavor but great construction.

This particular petit royale was awful. I’ve had some decent ones so obviously it’s one of those “well it’s Cuba” cigars. Replaced with a lovely little Demi Tassi

1974 Por Larranaga Petit Lancero.

QdO 54 from ASR FEB 19. This was pretty good, and much better than a year ago. Mild, creamy, golden gingerbread, tons of smoke and a good burn. Not that complex but a quality smoke nonetheless.

How do you find the Royale compare to the PC. I really enjoy the Royales but as the price creeps up on them I have debated replacing with the PC or the Mille Fleur.
