Edit to add in my lunchtime RyJ Petit Royale. Dare I say even w a year Olu’s down this one has a bit too much mongrel from the start. 
but hey, it is 63 outside on December 11th in the Midwest so I’ll enjoy every bit of it.

This is so good I’ll need to write a review. I havnt smoked one in a year and the extra age made all the difference. A cigar of the year contender right now!

I've only had 2 I think. First one was just 80-90 minutes of cream. At the time seemed very boring, didn't realize how sought after cream is as a flavour. Second one was a bit better more spice and wood. For some reason I've bought a box.

Oh.  OK.  I have always requested El Laguito codes when possible.  Especially so, in the year since my visit.  They have quite the operation there.  Cuba is not known for consistency or quality assurance in general, but the El Laguito management, who I talked to extensively, seemed to take a great deal of pride in their work, and that impressed me.  Keep in mind, that this is the only factory I have visited, so I have no comparison.  I just feel, and it might just be psychological, that my chances of getting a great box are better with an El Laguito code.

That said, I have had some great non-EL boxes, and if the price point is right, I will buy them regardless of the box code.  But it is always a win when I get a good price, as well as the code I am looking for.
