They made a lot of improvements.  The sensor is 50% larger.  Plus it is floating rather than fixed, which helps a lot with image stabilization.  Plus they added LiDar technology to the camera.

I find La Trova a bit of a mixed bag....some really good, many okay. Different DNA from the Vigia, Topes, Esmeralda, Fundy etc. I find those way more consistent.

Interesting week 

Archetype robusto pretty decent for the price and 76 degrees in Chicago in November ...

18 Dip 2 was excellent 

hamlet 25th just not my sweet spot at all, better than the robusto in this blend however 

18 Party short was excellent 

and Davidoff Late Hour Robusto was the star of the week 93-95 pointer. Excellent smoke

How long did you lay them down? I have a couple boxes from 19 that I've had for 4 months. Have yet to try one. Looking forward to the game next week with my Chiefs!

Moving day at the Masters. Starting it off with a delicious MSU-JUL-17 MDO4. 

Next up is a Pacificos.  Great construction, burn and draw.  Flavors are muted and somewhat one dimensional on this smoke.  Hopefully this box isn't past its prime now.

This one was a 6er 24:24 purchase with a box date of late 2019, I believe. Just got them three months ago and this was the first. Light one up!

A Late Hour Churchill on a BEAUTIFUL fall afternoon. The last two in the series (Toro, Robusto) I tried had a wonky burn and tunneled. This one is burning fine and tastes great.

I smoked one most recently about 6 months ago and saw a changing of the guard.  I have probably 20 left in the cab and all the others have been great.  Construction/burn remains excellent but I think they might be past their prime.  I used to get sweet black cherries and red licorice flavors but the last two have been more muted earthiness with a hint of cedar.  I'm not disliking the smoke, but certainly not as good as they once were.

40 F but sunny.  I braved it.  Was fun for 12 holes than as the sun went away and clouds picked up, it was downright cold even with my winter gloves, cap, and many many layers.  This P2 was warm though.

My father is a school bus contractor and only has himself to drive his bus, meaning he can’t ever take a day off. Well today I earned my CDL so I can help him out once in a while. Monte Especial 2 to celebrate!
