samb Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 A lil Jamaican robusto I picked up in Montego Bay. It was fair, not Cuban, but with some nice tooth.

lemmycaution Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Smoked a really bad Boli Royal Corona-burn problems and tunneling-which I think affected the flavor. This box has been really "hit or miss".

I love those better than the Ramon Allone's Phoenicio ( sublime ) for now.

I have a handfull sitting on the humidor and haven't had one for a year or two. Last night I had a young Monte Especial that was divine! Love the Audrey Hepburn's cigar, as Ken and Rob put it!
bassman Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Another 97 Boli CG. That cab is going faster than I thought.
dcse Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 How were the Monte Ds? I have a handfull sitting on the humidor and haven't had one for a year or two.Last night I had a young Monte Especial that was divine! Love the Audrey Hepburn's cigar, as Ken and Rob put it! I have been returning to the Monte Ds on a regular basis. The vitola has been a firm favourite and the Monte Ds have only improved with age. I still have an unopened box and some singles, so the plan is to relax and enjoy them to the full inbetween all the other treats in my humi. The Monte Especial is another favourite (there are so many favourites... ), with only a few singles left to enjoy. Bought a 25 box some four of five years back, and so far they have never let me down
dcse Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Thats great line up with EL & RERamon Allone Benelux is full body and something more than just 2 RASS from 04 can be compared with. I love those better than the Ramon Allone's Phoenicio ( sublime ) for now. I have yet to find out how to add multiple quotes... The Ramon Allones is a great cigar which will improve even more in a couple of years. They have yet to give me the WOW experience. The 2008 re-issue and the Phoenicios are still resting in my humi, so I have a lot to look forward to
chrisguinther Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 This week: Juan Lopez Seleccion #2 H. Upmann Connoisseur #1
LeafLover Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Dip 4 while watching the Animal Planet showing the snakehead fish...vicious fish.
JoshMP Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 08 RyJ Short Churchill Tubos today at work. Smoking with a friend of mine who is just getting in to it. I've not been a huge RyJ fan in the past but this was really nice. Really cedary finish.
JoshMP Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Had another Short Churchill when I got home. Same 3 pack, same date, same code. And BLEURGH! Bloody awful. Got about 3cm and couldnt stomach it at all. Going to wait an hour and smoke a siglo VI, need a good experience after that one.
lemmycaution Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I am trying to smoke the rest of my NC's, so I smoked a cigar I have been saving for a while-an Oliva Master Blends I. It was a beautiful torpedo with a "tattoo" on the wrapper leaf. The cigar really has aged well and was a wonderful experience.
JMacSr Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Yesterday Birthday Smoke, Cohiba Siglo II Outstanding!!
FlyingGlass Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 PSD4 after a long day working in the yard and around the house. . . smoked beautifully.
LeafLover Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 PSD4 tonight. Almonds, sweet, buttery. Burn...only drawback.
dicko Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 RyJ mills fluer. getting over a cold, couldnt taste much but was good
daboose Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I'm enjoying the singles order from Czar. Last few days I enjoyed: JLPC, Fonseca Cosacos & RyJ PJ (the palette says each are box worthy!)
mbrody Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 PSD4 09, I believe from the mix/match. Great smoke. My best PSD4 to date, and so young! Easy 90.
