I just can't recall the last time I had one and was left disappointed or questioning how soon I could finish the cigar to smoke something else. For me, it always seems to be finely-balanced in delivering quintessential Montecristo flavours of cocoa, cream and milk coffee and combining them with something akin to an almond nut paste and a hint of citrus twang sometimes. This is how I would describe this Montecristo Especiales No.2 I had tonight. It also seems consistently refined and mild in body and strength, even when they are only 12, 24 or even 36 months of age. It's no wonder so many of us seek this wonderful Montecristo cigar out and equally lament the sparsity of its longer relation; the Montecristo Especiales.
