Is that one from their box Simon? I keep asking about them, but Carlos tells me they are no good anymore...

No personal stash. They don't have anymore, someone bought them out...

Ah. I see. How was it?

Perfect afternoon smoke. Hadn't smoked one in a long time and quite good. Smooth honey with a little cream.

Having a Cohiba Piramides Extra at the moment. As you may remember, I was quite outspoken against the hype of this stick. Well, I stand corrected. It is an outstanding cigar! The best way I can describe it is that it is the Behike Piramides. It reminds me very much of the BHK56 but I actually prefer this over the BHK since the Piramides vitola means the ridiculous ring gauge doesn't bother me. Very creamy, medium-bodied cigar. I still believe the price point is too high for a regular production cigar and the draw is a tad bit too loose for my taste but that is nit-picking.

Can't believe I am saying this but I need to get me a box. It is head and shoulders above the Cohiba 1966 for me.

Well done, HSA! :2thumbs:

if its a head and shoulders above the 1966 this would be one of the best cigar ever made.

i'm not sure this can live up to this.

Well, unlike many others, I wasn't a fan of the 1966 so the bar isn't set all too high for me :)

Couple of small sticks today: RG Panetelas BD2003 with a very intense coffee aroma, followed by a RA Belvederes BD2002 which was also very nice.

In honour of the Mayans getting it wrong, I used my Xikar 3D Mayan cutter to light up a PLPC while outside playing in the snow with my 4-year-old son. Turning out to be a great weekend so far, and a nice smoke too (1/3 in already)....
