Popular Post YOM'$ Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 This is young at UBM ENE 19 but it is really encouraging how rich it has become in such a short time. I typically wait 3+ years before smoking my sticks but I can’t stop on these. 93+ now. Lovely! 25
Popular Post Kongelunden Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 After dinner smoke: Bolivar Silver Jubilee, Box code RAT NOV 19. The second from the box, and already becoming a very nice smoke. Classic bolivaresque - very nice. Will be challenging to properly age these as I will find it difficult to stay away from them Reminds me why Bolivar has become my favorite cuban brand, and that I will have to source more from the brand - including some of the other bolivar special releases. These LE and LCDH are unfortunately not easy to find, and I've missed the libertador the last couple of times it was on 24:24 ☹️ 24
Popular Post SonGoku Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 Montecristo - No. 2 (TEB MAR 08). @JohnS this one is from the same humidor containing the 2013 ERDM CS. Nothing wrong with this monty. So it must be the box of ERDM that is having an off period these last couple of years. Gotta leave them be the next couple of years and see how they turn out. Also looking forward to see how the rest of this box of Montecristos will develop years from now. I still have a little over half the box left. Bolivar - Coronas Junior (ETP MAR 16) 25
Popular Post Ciscojohansson Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 Some recent smokes. The Trinidad was great, from 18 I think. The montes were so so. 27
Popular Post Paladin865 Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 A good NC, this is part of the Battleground Series, They sell these in Connecticut, in The United States. It is a Civil War theme, with a different vitola that has a different general from either the Union or the Confederacy. 17

Popular Post inter4alia Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 PUS Oct 17. I keep going back to this box every so often to see if they finally do something for me. Another swing and a miss today. 25

Popular Post JohnS Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 Romeo y Julieta Churchills GOM Ago 2018 Out of the myriad box codes of Romeo y Julieta Churchills I've enjoyed in the past three or four years this GOM Ago 2018 one would be my least-favoured, critically-speaking. That's quite a testament to how consistent I've found the Romeo y Julieta Churchill since its low ebb, for me, in the mid-2010s and earlier when it seemed every RyJ Churchill I tried was just bland toasted tobacco (and I mean every one!). It wasn't that this one was that bad either. Sure, it had fruity elements of cherry, sweet notes of turkish delight, rosewater essence and anise/licorice and core flavours of cocoa and nutmeg but that toasted tobacco dominated at times, especially in the back half and the number of re-lights on this cigar grew to be too numerous to ignore to chance or anomaly. Even when RyJ Churchills are like this one today, I can still live with it. I was fine to smoke it over two-and-a-half hours reading a good book and enjoying the mid-afternoon winter's sunshine complimented by two or three quality espresso-flavoured coffees. But deep down, I still yearn for my next one to be better! 32

Popular Post Bijan Posted August 16, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 16, 2020 Romeo y Julieta exhibicion no 4. Used the 12mm punch on my new 3 size punch cutter for the first time. Guess 48 RG is about the minimum for a 12mm punch. Need more data but seems my old 8mm is good for 36-42 RG. 9mm is good for 40-49 RG. And 12mm for 48+ RG. Haven't used the 7mm yet but I'm guessing it's be good for 30-36 RG. 26
