An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Last night, I enjoyed a Cuaba Piramides LE 2008 at my 'Cousin in laws' home, whilst he enjoyed a Jose L Piedra Nacionales )He likes these).

Was a really cold night, great chilling out with a glass of red wine near the Chimnea.

Trinidad Ingenios as a was playing in the FOH poker final. Came in 7th. But the cigar is enjoyable. Classic Trinidad flavors, but the draw is a bit tight. I blame it for losing tonight. Must have had too puff too hard on the stick...yeah right...

Went up for the fishing opener and to open up the cabins.....love this time of year. Had a wonderful ERDM Tainos '97...sssoo smooth. Plenty of cocao, coffee, wood with a touch of sweetness on the palate. Followed up by a EL R&J Duke. I was really impressed with this cigar. I've not been that impressed with R&J EL's overall but this one was really good. I might have to find some of these.

Had a young Diplomaticos #4 last night. First third was really good, medium bodied, paprika and spices. Second third was out of this world good, still medium bodied and a lot of sweetness, shortbread like. Last third was terrible! All I could taste was burning tires.

They've been resting for only 2 weeks after I got them from Czars, I'll give them anothergo in a month or so.

BTW, paired it with a premium Brazilian cachaça called Vale Verde. Loved it.

Just finished a 07 RE PL Robusto. I love this cigar... Enjoyed it with a German Franziskaner Dunkel Weissbier.

Very enjoyable all the way down to the nub with leather and a honey sweetness taste. I found that this particular cigar had a full bodied midway through. After the first third I wasn't sure if this cigar had the legs for 5 more years, but I definitely changed my mind. Some nicotine buzz after the great 50 minute smoke.

Shaking off a recent cold that has filled my sinuses and restricted my sense of taste, I pulled out an Alec Bradley Tempus Lancero.....Very Fine!

Just a tasty smoke with cocoa, cinammon and sweet bready notes. Would definitely buy more of these if the opportunity arose. An easy 90.

Had a PLPC while watching the Chicago/San Jose hockey game at a packed, partisan Blackhawks bar. Passed my friend a Bolivar CE and requested a stiff drink in trade. He returned with a large tumbler of Crown Royal Black. Somewhat vile-looking to be sure. A healthy dose of caramel coloring appears to have been added to the standard CR formulation. Surprisingly, the drink matched the cigar fairly well. I love the PLPC. Am looking forward to this year's Asian regional release.
