Popular Post Rhinoww Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 Hadn’t fired one up for a while. This one had a really hard draw. Taste was a bit bitter. I’ll likely let this box from 18 rest some more - and will dry box before smoking the next one. 26
Popular Post LLC Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 Last few days. MUP OCT 18 La Isla. Last one from what was a very good box. I hope that continues. Very good Jorge Monsdale from a March 2018 trip. RAT DIC 19 Proprios. Love this cigar. La China Pyramid. Perfect construction and flavors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 29
Popular Post BigGuns Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 Unwinding with a Petit Edmundo. Cold draw was a little loose and this one didn’t like being set on fire, but now it’s burning smoothly and smoking great. To this day I still miss the old Monte bands.... 29
Popular Post DeeBeezy Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 Connie A 2019 i must say the first two examples I have ever had of the Connie A were extremely memorable, I remember a Holder wrappered perfectly packed cigar that drew and burnt Perfectly and imparted a ton of creamy caramel goodness. Ever since those first two examples, I have smoked Connie As with darker and more rough looking wrappers. Unfortunately the magic was never quite recaptured as I have found all the ones I have smoked since bland and a little bit bitter toward the end. This unfortunately fell in the later category showing me minimal promise to keep giving this cigar a shot. A big Fall from Grace for a cigar that once excited me from perhaps my favourite Habanos brand. 88 points. punch punch 2013 beautiful evening Here in London, been gradually working my way through a punch of punch punch, this one lacked the classic punch orange peel flavour I usually get from these. This was predominantly a nutty cigar (more chashew nut than peanut) that developed a favour of wet earth toward the end. Very mild, not the best one out of This box.Although I will be fair and say it was pleasant and decent as a stand alone cigar. 90 points 30

Turns out that piramide was a huge disappointment even after all these years. Better switch to one I am sure it will not disappoint. Cheers to Punch 8-9-8.???? 27
Popular Post GVan Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 SCdlH Principe (LGR JUN-18) about 30 days in the humi since delivery and smoked awesome! My 18's are right now smoking better than my 17's! This one was pure sweetness on the cold draw and tastes of salt every third puff. Who doesn't like salty - sweet? Into a solid rotation with morning coffee of PLMC's, SCdlH P's and Parti shorts -- YEAH !!! 29

The Principe is also my go to however, I'm currently dry boxing a RGPC for either tomorrow or Saturday morning. I have not yet tried the Parti Short with my coffee but I see that in my future soon! 1 1

Popular Post JohnS Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 Partagás Serie P No.1 2009 - Ceramic Jar (circa 2009) According to Cuban Cigar Website, Habanos S.A. introduced the Duty Free and Travel Retail Series in 2006. These are quality items, of various types and sizes, released primarily for sale in Duty Free and Travel Retail stores, at a premium price. They contain either single-brand or multi-brand standard production or special release cigars. The releases thus far include: 2006 - Montecristo Edmundo 2007 - H. Upmann Robustos 2008 - Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robustos, Montecristo Petit Edmundo and Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills (a multi-brand collection of standard production cigars in super-premium double-chamber humidifier tubes) 2009 - Partagás Serie P No.1 (released in a ceramic jar) 2010 - Hoyo de Monterrey Double Epicure 2014 - Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills 2015 - Partagás Serie E No.2 2017 - Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Belicoso 2018 - Montecristo Double Edmundo 2019 - H. Upmann Magnum 56 (released in a ceramic jar) The Partagas Serie P No.1 is a Petit Pyramid with dimensions of 50 ring gauge x 127 mm (or 5 inches) in length. It was released to market in 2010 and received positive appraisal at that time. It was noted for having flavours of coffee, wood, hay, pepper, cinnamon, chocolate and sweet cinnamon and honey notes. So broadly speaking, it was identified as an excellent and complex cigar. How is it now that ten years have past? This cigar proves the old adage that a quality cigar will retain its characteristics with age. It no longer had elements of wood or chocolate but it certainly did have refined hay, pepper and honey to compliment the leather that has now developed. It was simply a joy to smoke and nub. If you've picked up this release, and still have some cigars left, then know with confidence that the cigar is still smoking well. If you've finished them then at least you can still console yourself with the ornate ceramic jar! 31

Popular Post DeeBeezy Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 PsD4 PUR JUN 16- sheen on this thing is absolutely outrageous. This has been a box I have layed off of for the last year as I was simply smoking through all of them, every single one of this box has been an absolute cracker and exactly what good D4s should be about, spiced cream in spades. Today’s cigar was beautifully constructed, tightly packed but drew and burnt perfectly. It was a fantastic cigar but perhaps not as flavourful as the ones I smoked a year ago. Still a 92 pointer which has been the lowest score of the box... which is saying something. BBF 2015- i smoke a lot of BBF but this is actually the first i recall Smoking from a dress box as opposed to the Cab. This cigar was laiden with that classic creamy ‘guiness’ that BBF is known for, there was also a light ceded detectable on the finish. I very much enjoyed this cigar however there was a clear difference in body and complexity in comparison to an aged BBF from a cab. This was much more light in flavour in comparison and did not have any flavours of earth nuts and expresso I often get out of BBF from a SLB. The aroma was also not as pungent. Nevertheless a very enjoyable smoke. 92 points. 32
Popular Post WABOOM Posted July 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 23, 2020 LTB AGO 13. Lots of cedar, raw almond, golden raisins, leather, and woody hints of a stiff chardonnay. Fantastic. 26
