Popular Post Fugu Posted July 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2020 Yeah, you can get this with the Juniors - still .... digging them. Then again, a great burning C&C. 27

Popular Post Rhinoww Posted July 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2020 Played jenga in storage today. Found a box I split from our host w a BOTL here. I had intended on waiting another year but what I missed out on grabbing a similar coded box now... great way to end a long weekend. lotta pure CC taste here. will be letting the rest sleep for a year. A touch of mongrel. But still a really enjoyable stick for the first third. I’ll have some time to contemplate if I’ll get a full box w a similar code to age over the next 2/3. 27

Popular Post RDB Posted July 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2020 Here’s a BSM NOV 19 Famoso, pretty much ROTT. Pale wrapper for VR, and I was a bit concerned tbh. But the aroma was rich and fruity... and the smoke is lovely. Not the dark exotic end of VR, but a welcome addition nonetheless. Great construction too. 30

I have an ARS ENE-19 box with the light wrappers and they're fantastic. Sweet and nutty with flawless construction. Glad you enjoyed! 4

Popular Post JohnS Posted July 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2020 Trinidad Esmeralda GEM Nov 2019 The Trinidad Esmeralda is a Dinoras-sized cigar with a 53 ring gauge x 145mm (or 5¾ inches) length. Esmeralda is a reference to one of the famous streets of Trinidad city. I was enamored with the coffee and cake-like quality of my first Esmeralda from the box a few weeks ago so I wanted to enjoy the next one with Trevor Leask, the founder of Cuban Cigar Website, on a pleasant and warm Winter's mid-afternoon. The first third again opened with distinctive coffee, cake or dough, wood and a buttered texture which I've come to appreciate in all three new Trinidad releases. In the middle third the cigar picked up more coffee and wood notes. In the last third the buttered texture was still there but the wood and spice came out more to the fore and both Trevor and I let out cigars go around halfway through the last third. We both figured that the Esmeralda was a young cigar and together with its rich and flavoursome profile, really needed the last third to be smoother if we were to nub it. Then again, it was still a good smoke and an afternoon well-enjoyed! I had mentioned in my previous review on the Esmeralda and the three new Trinidad releases (i.e the Esmeralda, Topes and Media Luna) are the type of cigars that you would finish a night (or afternoon) with, possibly after a hearty meal. Today's Esmeralda exemplified this view. 33
