Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted July 3, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 3, 2020 It was a 5 cigar day. Started this Siglo VI in town outside the coffee shop. The Hydrangeas in full bloom looked like a nice backdrop, but there were too many people walking around to smoke it there, so... ....I drove home and finished it by the pool. The company I work for runs 6 events (3 PGA Tour, 3 PGA Tour Champions) around the country. Year round I work on one but travel to the others for 2-3 weeks at a time and help out. Love the game. Right on man. Sounds like a fun job. I got some family that plays on the Champions Tour, Jasper Parnevik. I haven’t seen him since I was younger though. I also love the game. My truest golf passion is links golf. The first trip I took to St Andrews changed my life. 2

The job is great, although the first 3 events of the year for our company were canceled because of COVID. I have yet to get to Scotland but Ireland I've been to and loved. Jesper is an awesome guy. Super hospitable and easy to talk to. The first time I met him I was actually about 3 or 4 years old. My aunt was a member at the same club he belonged to at the time here in Palm Beach Gardens. We were hitting balls on the range one day and he took the time to come up and give me a few pointers. Can't for the life of me remember what he said, but it makes for a cool story. I told he and his wife the story a couple years ago when he made an appearance at a meet and greet for some of our big sponsors. They both got a kick out of it. 1
