Connoisseur Kim
Anything larger than 54-56 and I’ll place the cigar in the blades and spin the cigar to cut through the cap and then finish the cut so I don’t risk any wrapper damage. I’ve had these for a couple years and have been pleased with them. It’s also a handy tool for purging the butane out of lighters before refilling them. I’d say pick up a pair. Thanks dude! I thought its max RG is 54, since many websites claimed it can cut up to 54 RG sticks. I'll definitely buy this all round cigar scissors for straight cut
maverickdrinker
Which of the three did you like best? The Beritus was the highlight of the three. The Club Allones has developed nicely. Good RA flavours accented with sweetness from the darker wrapper. The Superiores did not have the typical RA flavour profile. More partagas in nature. I think someone banded the wrong cigar at the factory. LolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Popular Post torsion
Enjoying the last smoke of the weekend last night. Battling the threat of rain as it's been on/off all day. Managed to finish this Trinidad Vigia.MUP SEP18 Picked something shorter as didn't know what the weather would do, the rain came but didn't phase me this time. Better smoke than the last one I had, I find these to be underfilled, this one wasn't too bad but still definitely under. For me, when QC is on form, these are I'm my top 3.Not big on the size but taste wise I really love these. Really hard to fault anything Trinidad for my palate. Lockdown eases here in the UK, pubs open this week as do hairdressers and I definitely need a haircut! Have a great week ahead all Decided to take a stroll to my usual smoke spots tonight but f#ck me it's blowing a gale out here! Changing up the pace and palate again with this Padron Serie 1926 90th Anniversary (Natural by the looks of the shade of the wrapper) When I lived in the US, I could/should of probably have smoked more New World cigars however I guess you could say I know I have a preference. The regular Padron 1926 are one of my favourite New World smokes and in general I have always wondered what all the fuss was all about these premium priced sticks. Anyway, when I knew I was going to leave I thought I best stock up on sticks easier to access over there and hell of alot cheaper. Picked up a couple of these so thought best smoke the duplicates, started off peppery and spicy as to be expected but settled slightly now.Full bodied smoke.A lot of Cuban purists would probably hate this. Usually only available in tubos I think, mine were just in cellophane. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I love the Club Allones and enjoyed the Superiores I smoked recently but have not had a chance to try the Beritus. As a whole I enjoy the marca though. Too bad the Superiores didn't hit the spot though, especially with that much time resting.
Popular Post StogieSteve23
A couple from this weekend. Excellent ASU MAR-19 Monte 1 while on Zoom this Saturday. Had a great time playing golf with @GVan and @Devo yesterday. Great track with better company. Playing well always makes the round more fun and there's nothing like enjoying a post round cigar on the veranda of the club IMO. Something that's becoming a rarity in the US nowadays. Thanks for the invite, George! BRE MAR-18 Connie A - Always excellent TPO OCT-19 Short de Punch with Tito's Trannies Fuente RSG Magnum R No. 44 on the ride home. One of my favorite NC lines. Thanks @Devo! This morning's double espresso with a Petit Edmundo. Delightful pair to start the day. Thanks @GVan for this one! Smoking flawlessly with subtle earth notes, dried cocoa and a hint of hazelnut. ASR JUL-18 EE with some "Stoner's Delight". Awesome desert made by a local restaurant here. Graham cracker crust base, Nutella/Reese's cups mixed together in the middle with melted marshmallows atop and a side of mixed berries. Absolutely incredible. Flavor bomb in every bite. Not usually a desert guy but we had to take this home for leftovers.

Popular Post JohnS
Trinidad Media Luna BSM Nov 2019 2019 has seen the release of three new additions to the Trinidad line-up; the Media Luna, the Esmeralda and the Topes. The Media Luna is a Marinas size with a 50 ring gauge x 115mm (or 4½ inch) length. "Media Luna" is the name of the Hostel with an important architectonic value located in the street of the same name in the city of Trinidad. This smoked similarly to the Media Luna I enjoyed a month ago. It had the distinctive premium, rich butter pastry, coffee, dough and wood flavours which have characterised all three new Trinidad releases, in my opinion. Again, I had to savour it and smoke it slow; this was not a cigar to rush in any way. I smoked it after a hearty meal, catching up with a close friend I had not seen since the start of 2020 due to the worldwide Covid-19 outbreak, which has obviously affected us all. I gave him one too from this box and he was effervescent in singing its praises. He offered me some Springbank 15 whisky to pair with it espousing the coconut and honey qualities of the drink as a perfect compliment to the rich and savoury Media Luna we were both smoking. Indeed, it was a fine pairing. Comparisons are readily made to the Topes and Esmeralda when discussing the Media Luna. In my mind, the other two may be said to be better only because they last longer as a quality smoke.

Good value in regular production, very consistent flavour profile, built to age and rarely disappointsI may try another 2012 Superiores this week to see if I was just off. Hopefully a one off as I bought a few boxes of these from 2010 to 2012. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post havanaclub
TPO DIC 18 Rio Seco. Just starting to come around. I dried this out on the counter for a few days and it seemed to help. I wasn’t sure what all the fuss was about these fresh. My first 2 were harsh. This one is much better and medium full.
