 2019 Edmundo. Earthy, leathery, bitter chocolate. Still a mongrel and some tannic and muted flavors but tastes like very good Tabacco. These should taste really good and come together in another year or 2.

For once sticking to the sticks picked out a couple of weeks ago and getting round to smoking them and of course the theme is the mighty skinny.
So far these are the best constructed out of the ones I've gone through, the weight, leaf packing is perfect.
I'm getting that dry grass like I've often seen people write about when tasting these.I don't usually talk about flavours on my posts as everyone's palate is different.
It's good, but I still maintain favouritism towards the Trinidad Fundadores.

Just finished this beautiful, very satisfying Maduro No. 3, young, ‘19 box I believe, that’s has probably 4 months rest. Love the sweetness over the chocolate flavor.  No harshness whatsoever.  Probably helped that my tupperdor was at 62 RH for the last few months. @Thirds thanks for sharing from your Cuba trip!

Lancero after a lovely day out on the countryside, MOL DIC 18. Tight but smokeable, and great flavours: sour citrus twang, grassy sweetness, milk coffee goodness. German Reisling in the big glass.

One of the rare quality Monte 2 I had in a while, with less than 2 years of aging, I actually tasted sweetness out of this stick. Really look forward to smoking the rest with more age on them.

For Father’s Day, I decided to smoke something a little out of the ordinary.
  
A Hoyo de Monterrey Maravillas (Colección Habanos 2015). At 9 1/4 inches and 55 ring gauge, it is the length of a Diadema, and the same diameter as the diadema at it’s widest point, only this cigar is that width for its entire length.  For a size comparison, it makes this Esplendido look scrawny by comparison.
