Popular Post sw15825
SC El Principie. LGR JUL 17. Really amazing how this cigar has a light to medium body, but so full of flavors that are always changing and keeping me interested throughout the smoke. A great aroma, that I couldn't even think would be offensive to non-smokers. I love these in the morning it's great with coffee to me. There are subtle floral, woody and sweet flavor that is really enjoyable. There is also a nutty, honey or molasses flavor, hints of coca, and a smooth powdered sugar flavor that morphs into burt sugar flavor. It's amazing to me the amount of flavor and complexity the Cuban's can pack into such a small cigar. If you like sweetness in a cigar, and a panoply of constantly changing flavors, then add a cost of a little over $4.50 a stick during a sale, a no brainer.

Popular Post SigmundChurchill
Today I held the battle of the cañonazos. Almost too close to call, but I would say the Siglo VI beat the Esmeralda, but just by a nose. Technically, I’m not sure the Esmeralda is a true cañonazo, but it’s close enough for me. In fairness, the Siglo VI have 3 years under their belt, while the Esmeraldas are from OCT 19.

Tonight, a tasty JL2, yesterday it was an excellent HU2, a stellar Mag 46 on Tuesday, and the week started with the first La Fuerza from my first box...delicious! Popular Post Monocle
SCdHF. Not sure how old but I tend to remember buying it from the aged selection at LCHD Montreal about three years ago so it must have ample maturation. Lovely after dinner stick. Almost like a dessert in itself. I now fully appreciate the molasses reputation. Rolled too tight but not so much that it impedes enjoyment, rather it helps ensure that I smoke it slowly—plus yields a nice ash. Definitely need to pick up a box to age.

Popular Post Mcoad
A quiet Friday in Cgy. Mixed weather all week. Man oh man is my mind fried by Wednesday as a result of Microsoft Teams. They never tell you about the downside of graduating beyond the tools in exchange for back-to-back meetings everyday, all day. Still... there’s something to be said for midday rollerblades with my son (when a meeting wraps up early) and perpetual 0 minute commute times. Stay safe all.
