maverickdrinker Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 How are those DJ smoking now? Been trying to track down a box or some at least. Heard they are still around in Italy. Not sure this is true. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIt is smoking beautifully right now. Strength and flavours are balanced. Cocoa, light cinnamon, and leather, accented by oolong tea, baking spice and eucalyptus. No tannins or harshness to speak of. Worth searching out. Hope this helpsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Popular Post Rhinoww Posted June 13, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 13, 2020 Three weeks after delivery from our host, I’ll call this young Trin Reyes with a 19 code young and ROTT. With that said, it makes up in flavor what it lacks in size in the first third. A tad under filled yet a harder draw. A bit of dry boxing will solve that draw issue. Still contemplating if I’ll buy more or try some of the other Trin Vitolas. Have had this, the Colonial and the Vigia. Time to find some Esmereldas. Size on the Reyes is perfect for the time I had before shower and heading out for the night w my wife. Competition is still for the Reyes w the Party short, RASC and Boli CJ. 27

Popular Post StogieSteve23 Posted June 13, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 13, 2020 First smoke in a few days so I decided to wet the beak this morning with my first Short de Punch from a few boxes I procured from our host. This one is TOP OCT-19. Picked the ugliest one from the box with a big crack in the foot and slight wrapper crack in the 2/3. 1/3: Cedar, hazelnut, baking spices and slight lemon zest on the retro 2/3: Dry roasted almonds and cedar turn into creamy peanuts toward the end of 2/3 with just a slight spice. Reminded me of a great creamy peanut sauce on some Pad Thai. A minimal minty note lingered in the back of the throat. 3/3: Big creamy peanut butter for most then turned into wet cedar and finished off with creamy hazelnut/roasted almonds. Overall, very very enjoyable smoke. I love this Marca and despite the cracked foot, burn was pretty good throughout, slight touch ups in 2nd and 3rd with perfect combustion throughout the stick. An HSA homerun in my book. Beach day with the lady. Tubo weekend review coming. MAE FEB-14 Epi 1 Tubo Second Short de Punch of the day. Really enjoying these. 35

Popular Post sw15825 Posted June 14, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2020 1st Lusitanias from a 2008 box of 10 Saturday evening. Sunday am smoke, RA Gordito De Allones. LRE ABR 10. If you have these I'd say smoke e'm. Mine from a box with lighter wrappers seem to be reaching their peak, or it is just a stick that didn't get it's intended ingredients. However, it did pick it up strength and flavorwise, midway through the cigar and to the nub. 32
Popular Post bigbwalls Posted June 14, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2020 Serie E No. 2 - April 18 Wonderful. Perfect, sharp burn and an ideal draw. Slight resistance but billows out smoke clouds. I'm getting coffee, cream, cinnamon spice, roasted cashew - delicious. 25
